I apologize in advance if this has been discussed before but i'm interested in swapping my base tires out for 33's (285/75 r16) and was wondering if I need, or should add a 1 inch leveling kit? Not sure what the pro's and con's would be to doing this. Also am torn between the BFG KO2's, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, or General Grabbers . I'm leaning towards BFG's but... hard decision. Any recommendations on tires?

There are several who have done this, and from what I've seen, there are no issues at all. I'm having the dealer install tires that size on mine before I pick it up

One note is to make sure they calibrate the Speedo. Mine reads 3-4 mph slow at highway speeds so having them look at it when I get my next oil change

I went with 33,s (285 70 17) and have zero issues.

You can recalibrate yourself...

So any recommendations on whether or not to level it?

Check out @BudgetBronco on all of these questions. I went with the Grabbers and a 2" leveling kit from Rough Country.

No lift or leveling kit is required with the 285-75-16 tires. If you add one it is for looks only, and my own personal opinion it is not worth the cost, the tires look nice without it, not too 'stuffed'.

I have been very happy with the General Grabber option but all three of the ones you list are good tires and you probably can't go wrong with any of them

Thank you! I hope it helped with your decision. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options you were looking at.

I just put on 33s without doing a leveling kit looks great and has plenty of clearance. Tires wise those are all good tires I would run with the one you like the best. Out of those brands they are all comparable.
