Hey everyone - we're from Anne Arundel County MD, looking for any recommendations to take a day trip with a little off-roading ..........in addition to Assateague.

Not much close by. Check out Peter’s Mill Run in VA. Just off 66 on 81.

Thanks. I’ll do that. And not afraid to drive to a good destination, that’s the whole point, right?

Peter's Mill Run is fun. I also suggest going a little further to Flagpole Knob. Flagpole Knob is more challenging, a longer trail, and has great views at the top. I have been to both several times this year and always have a great time.

If anyone sets up a trip please ping me. I am usually up for it.
