Cool! I have 33.1” (255/85r16) one my base, 2 dr., 2.3/auto. How does yours feel with the extra diameter/weight?

It feels there's extra resistance as in not a consistent wheel roll. The truck slows quickly if you let off the gas. On trails, they're great which is what the truck's for. Additionally, tires feel great and other times too hard regardless of surface. The ride quality is the same. It looks way better than the stock wheel and tire (obviously, imo). I am running an E rated tire and the rim/tire weight is about 77 pounds each (so there's the resistance.). Gas mileage is affected, but I didn't buy a Bronco expecting to get great mileage. I average 19.1 which I suppose isn't bad. Bronco's great for around town and trails and that's where I spend my time. Road trips are noisy and you are working to drive, but it's a truck.

I hope you enjoy your Bronco. Congrats!

The fact that you’re averaging 19.1 makes me think I’m doing something wrong.

@GPPBronco That's about my average. Base Sasquatch 19-20 mpg, mostly highway

@86Isuzu I recalculated the MPG to accommodate the larger tires and I’m actually sitting at about 18.5. That’s a mix of city/highway driving. Mostly in normal mode. Sport on the highway. So I think I’m right in there with you and others here, given the larger diameter and overall weight of the M/Ts and steelies.

I'm always in ECO Mode. I don't get on it around town as why hurry. I am playing with 87 & 89 gas. I think I could do slightly better with lighter wheel/tire combo. Maybe not. I have a 3.73 rear end gear with auto trans.

I would be love to see someone create a spread sheet and people honestly entered their setups (Wheel size, rims, weight, trans, rear end etc). Good info to have and study. I also am watching the wear on control arms, ball joints and all suspension with this larger wheel spec. I will not do a lift as that's just altering the engineering. I'm very curious about all this data and the effects.

Cheers!
