Looks like Henry Coe opens up the park to vehicles one weekend a year.

Very interesting - thanks for posting. Maybe we'll organize a day-drive out there, just to explore.

The Coe link mentions tickets going on sale in March. Do you know of any way to be notified? Or are tickets just required for camping?

I checked this morning and a line in red stated tickets going on sale on March 10 - get yours! I'm planning to get my tickets and go check it out.
