I’m not - too many parts to install. There is a ride on 7/22 and 7/30 though. Unsure about 7/22 but in for 7/30

Where can we ride in NE? Is there a map somewhere of good rides?

VT Class 4 and NH Class VI offer the best opportunities. These are legal, but abandoned, roads. Public still has right-of-way, but being unmaintained there's no telling about what you'll encounter: mud, overgrown vegetation, downed trees, private gates (gates can be passed through, but always leave them open/closed as you encountered them). We had a good day wheeling at https://www.armorditch.com/ in NH a few weeks ago. (The opening video ain't NH, though.) I'm wondering if there would be any interest in a group run for Old Florida Road in Adams, MA, maybe end of July--perhaps the state's most difficult road. Do some research on it, folks!
BostonSasquatch
Yeah, I was just mentioning to see about interest. Do a search and watch some videos: this is a serious trail. If I post, it may be "Sasquatch or better, recovery gear and winch required." I wonder if Ford would be interested in sponsoring for a promotional video?

There is a NH class vi run on 7/30 and another event on 7/22 for some public land in Thompson CT. I’m going on the 7/30 run but the other one I’m not. I go there often as it is close to where I live (about 30min). That be neat if Ford wanted to sponsor a video. I’ve seen footage of that trail and it’s pretty intense. I’m lifted, on 37s etc but no winch yet. Stil trying to decide on bumper before I get one.
BostonSasquatch
@gjptennis Could you post details on those runs? Do you know how challenging they are, or aren't? Where people meet, time, contact with organizers or just show up? etc. General 4x4s or Broncos? Etc. Regarding no winch: 37s are pretty serious. Put somebody with a winch just ahead of you if you need a pull.
Edit: I messaged Bronconation site admins & "Ford Motor Company" on the other site with a proposal for experienced Bronco trail guide with a suggestion for a promotional video in October (foliage season). Stand by!

@BostonSasquatch So there is a Facebook group (well 2 really) called northeast Bronco6G. That is where the 7/30 run is posted. It is rated as a blue trail and I know the group did his trail last year (prior to me getting my bronco) and some people took damage. There is a place called the “Bronco Squeeze” where the damage happened. There was a limit of 20 Broncos only for this one. Last I saw only 10 responded they were going and 2 friends of mine plus me are 3 of them and the 3 of us are all on 37s.

I think the 7/22 ride is in the other group northeast_bronco6g (yes they are similar it has mostly the same people and they prefer cars and coffee type stuff and broke off for some weird reason). This run is on public land - it is mostly very easy with some areas to challenge yourself. That is right close to me and I go there often enough I’m not doing that run.

Just checked - still 10 spots open for 7/30. Can’t post the info here as the admins want to keep headcount due to limit of 20 broncos. this is not a run for the faint of heart from my understanding. It is challenging. Not quite old Florida rd but pretty challenging.

I’m not sure… I have not done this trail before. The group did it last year but the description of the boulder sounds accurate.

@gjptennis Looked at the video again: maybe attacking the driver's side embankment with shovels and dynamite or something is the answer...open up the gap!

I just joined "Northeast Broncos" and think I joined the right one. The other is listed as "Northeast_Bronos," and doesn't include trail riding in listing. So I'll check their schedule and see what the 07/30 is all about.

Randy Childs. I'll check Northeast Broncos, but message me with contact and meet-up specifics, please. I'm psyched! (Psycho, too, but that's another matter.)

I don’t have the meetup specifics yet. That will get sent closer to the day of the ride. Once you join the group (northeast bronco6g) you’ll see the ride posted. Just tell them you want to go and you will get the information once it gets sent out.
