I saw this posted for Fri & Sat Aug 16-17 in Pigeon Forge if anyone's interested. I'll probably attend.

Looks like a few people from the Facebook are going to be out there.

I will not be making the trek but should be a fun time.

I've seen this advertised and pop up on a number of feeds. This is on my wife and I's radar, however it now looks like Disney and Universal instead. And I do need a rear bumper, so I was looking forward to the Stampede. Plans change frequently around these parts, so perhaps there is still a chance we'll be in the Smoky Mtns instead of Orlando.

UPDATE: As quickly as that, plans have changed, and we are looking to be at the Stampede.

I went last year and had a good time. Thinking about going again.

For those who have attended in the past, do we need to purchase tickets ahead of time or at the door will work fine? Considering lines, capacity, etc. We're planning on going on Friday. Can the entire event be enjoyed in a single day or should we really plan to be there for both days? Thanks for sharing your experience and insights with a newbie!

@Andrew72 Thank you! We are heading up Thursday night, planning on attending the Expo on Friday, then doing some exploring on Saturday and maybe a little more on Sunday before heading home.

@rws Planning to head up Thurs morning and head home Monday. Intending to attend expo Fri & Sat. Will probably head to Hard Rock Cafe for that meetup Thursday night (hopefully early to beat the crowds). No plans for Sunday, but may take in that planned group ride meeting-up in Townsend. We'll see.

@MyATV it would be nice to meet up in person at the Expo on Friday if schedules permit. My wife and I are still sorting out the details for the weekend overall. But the one thing we've landed on is Expo on Friday.

If I do make it up, It wont be till late Friday.
