Headed up to the Ranger Creek Airport off of Highway 410 to play in the snow with a bunch of Broncos this coming Sunday. We'll meet at the Enumclaw Safeway at 8:45 and leave at 9. 15 Broncos signed up so far.
Bring your recovery stuff, your air down and back up stuff, a radio, warm clothes, food and all that.

Turned out to be a pretty killer day. Lots of Broncos!

I deleted my Facebook account over five years ago, but it turns out that you can never have one again if you do that. So I guess I'm screwed on finding out what the local club is up to.

@Dougpaw57 I've posted some of the runs here for the Facebook free folks. :)

One of the photos from the last run.

That looks awesome. I'm a "reentry" to the off-road scene. I had a 2007 FJ Cruiser and used to off-road in the Mojave Desert near Edwards AFB. That experience was a lot different than what it's like up here. There it was just dry dirt and rocks, here it's mud, snow, grass, etc, so I have quite a bit to learn. I also didn't save any of my recovery gear, so I have a lot of questions about what I need to buy to be ready to go in Washington.

@Dougpaw57 I think you can make a new account if you use a different email address. Recovery stuff? A good strap, a shovel, air down tool, compressor and hoses and a buddy with a vehicle too. . . I just picked up a set of cheap traction boards from offer up to have along as well. Several newbs went wit us. We went up with the intention of finding enough snow to get stuck and practice recover. 5 or more vehicles got stuck and were recovered.

One other thing. I bought a 2 door and took the roof rails off as soon as I got it home. I put them up for sale on this forum but had no bites. Maybe you could ask your Facebook friends if anyone is interested in them?

@Dougpaw57 Good price, makes me want to pawn off the extra non-sas fenders and a slightly scuffed Wildtrak grill to raise some funds. A roof rack is on my wish list.

@ezapar 2 Do you have a 2 door? The rack is brand new, I took it off the day I brought the Bronco home.

@Dougpaw57 I do have a two door. I believe that they are interchangeable with the 4 door as well. The 4 door ones just come with an extra cross bar. I think.
