Has anyone had experience or contact with Pat Armstrong in East Wenatchee? Sales tax there is 8.3% vs 10.1% in Seattle.

No but I went with Pullman as their sales tax is 7.8% I believe plus the y give you the lifetime power train warranty and no dealer markup..

I thought it didn't matter where you buy it, the tax was based upon where you register it. Maybe I'm wrong.

That's what I had believed as well, then @jaspercasidino dropped some knowledge on us, check out this link. At the bottom it clearly lists vehicles as excluded from destination based sales tax if purchasing in state. It’s where you buy on a purchase , however on a lease its your residence address.
