After being ghosted by the dealer holding my reservation, I switched to Chapman Ford of Horsham. What a difference!
I had more communication in 5 min from Chapman than I’d had had in months previously. In minutes, I went from being in limbo, to having an order. Literally, at 4:40 I dialed Ford Customer Service to change my reservation…. at 4:46 Chapman Ford had it, at 5:01, I emailed my build to Tom, and at 5:19, my email beeped, and it was Ford’s email confirming my order. 39 minutes. So easy.
I had spoken to Tom(@DealerInsider) a week ago, and he spent time answering my questions, without exaggeration, made nothing up, and didn’t offer BS like “it’s a complicated system”. He also told me how it would go if I switched. No pressure. Still, I was surprised at how quick and easy the process was. As I told Tom, I like it went people say what they will do, and then, do what they said. Awesome!
I also want to give props to AJ at Hoffman Ford (@aj_benedetto) near Harrisburg, he was super helpful and very knowledgeable about the Bronco, and you can tell he is into them as much as the rest of us. Seems to be a great guy.
