Hey Daniel. I'll be up there in a few weeks and will be glad to tag along! Send me your info and we'll connect.

Given the storms that are projected to hit pretty damn hard Saturday into Sunday over most of North GA I'd probably just plan to reschedule.

I'm sure there will be downed trees galore if it comes in as projected.

If it flops then I'm likely down hopefully putting my new suspension on Saturday (allegedly)

@Rspayde if you bring a chainsaw with you you're guaranteed to avoid downed trees. It's only when you don't bring a chainsaw that they fall

@Gene Dios my problem is am not normally going out there with a 30 inch+ bar most times the big boys are best left for forest service

Never leave the house with my sorry ass 18v excuse of a 10 inch chainsaw it'll work in a pinch but I'd rather not!

Weatherwise it's looking a bit sketchy. I don't like dry/dusty trails, but if the forecast holds true, will be a sloppy mess. The forecast will tighten-up by Friday and we'll have a better idea.

I couldn’t do Sunday anyway, so maybe we plan for next week? Ryan should have those new fancy shocks installed as well. If Gene and Rusty and a couple more join, we’ll have quite the crew to roll with. Who needs March Madness! lol!

@Rspayde what's your hold up as far as installing on the ground? Fwiw I've done 4 or so installs, each time with my harbor freight 12 ton jack stands. The weight limit is overkill obviously but the useful part is how tall they can go and the big wide base for stability. Not as good as a lift but about as close as you can get for a couple hundred bucks

@Gene Dios @Rspayde @MadMan4BamaNATL if it is rained out…maybe we all grab a six pack and go over to Ryan’s and provide emotional support while he tries to install his coilovers lol?

@MadMan4BamaNATL I'll probably be up the last weekend of March/first week of April. I might miss you for this one but will definitely be game for the next one.

I would go if I didn't already have a prior commitment. It is supposed to be raining in the morning hours. I have not taken mine off road yet, but when I did the Off-Roadeo, it was raining for the morning hours.... I would have felt right at home!

Ya…I didn’t look at the weather =(.

That said if the rain turns out to be a bust(fingers crossed) I’m totally down if you guys are. I’ll touch base on Friday to see when we no more definitively the weather for the weekend.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, but its starting to say its more of a "chance" and less of a definite thunderstorms on Saturday night...sorry I might be a little bit excited to get on the trail.

@TheI3lindMan You've got time, bud. The fun season is just starting. Besides, you still need to break in that engine a bit more. Keep driving it, adjusting the computers, and we'll be out there all year, I assure you. Remember that the Forest Service has fewer employees right now, so trails not maintained could be extra bad. Let's see what type of muddy mess we have after this storm.

Also, that church meets on the 2nd & 4th Sundays every month. So it'd be best (if meeting there) to plan for either Saturday meet-ups, or on 1st/3rd/5th Sunday of the month to avoid traffic jam with church-goers.

I think I'm gonna ride over and do lifts and lagers today over in Cartersville at drowned valley brewing in lieu of wheeling.

The wife works, so I’m hanging with the little one or I’d join ya. I’m taking off next week(starting March 31st) because of Spring break if anyone wants to do something next week as long as its kid friendly =)
