I have no experience, but from what I read, real mud tires are not much fun on the road, very loud. But the M/T tires you'd get with Sasquatch are supposedly not mud terrain but multi terrain or something like that, much less aggressive threads and should be pretty civilized. I would not want real mud tires on my rig, but I'll also be avoiding mud when ever I can, not much fun cleaning mud from everywhere.

@Daktari yea. I like the sasquatch package with M/T tires. but since it said mud tires and I am just hetiage , if they can let us pick the tires , then it will be awesome

@JKbc18 I ordered the Sashquatch, I've seen photos of the tires I'll (supposedly) be getting and they don't look much different than any other off road tires, definitely not anything like real mud tires. I'm hoping they will be fine, but I also don't do much freeway driving where the noise could be more of an issue. Always can get some other tires, but I expect them to be similar to what ever I have and had on my Tacoma over the years.

I don't quite get why they call them M/T meaning multi or many terrain, where they should know everybody will think aggressive mud tires. You should be able to find photos of the 'squatch tires in the forums. I'm pretty sure they'll be just fine on and off road. If it really were mud tires I'd not get the package or swap them out right away. Couple more months and I'll hopefully know more :)

@Daktari yea, the only thing I like on the sasquatch package is the bilstein shocks. I think 33" might be the perfect size but there is no way to pick and choose the idea size for what we want.

would be nice to have more options. I figure if I don't like the tires (or the size) I can change it with the first tire change down the road (or trail).

I believe they are what’s described as a ‘hybrid’ tire that many say has good road manners but def not a true mud terrain tire.

The Goodyear MT does NOT stand for Mud Terrain (as is noted by the Ford web site). The MT stands for "Maximum Traction". It is an ALL/multi terrain tire.

Goodyear: "To that end, they've developed the first all-new Wrangler MT/R (Maximum Traction/Reinforced) off-road tire in a decade. ..."
