I am a pretty serious novice when it comes to off-road; beach, easy forest paths, etc. For the types of off-roading in North Carolina, what are the better attributes to have on a rig? Some of the considerations? Like a boat, or a gun - there are always compromises. What are the smartest ones to make, off-roading in our region?

@J_Meh_Cray_D I'm also a very novice off-roader. (99.9% of my off-roading has been on a dirtbike). I'm looking to enjoy some 4-wheel off-roading and the TAT is very enticing. I'm in Ga, northwest of Atlanta, and see that parts of the trail come pretty close [north Ga, Tn, etc.]. I'd like to make small runs in these areas before even considering venturing out west. The question is equipment and of course lots of time behind the wheel and learning the capabilities of the new WildTrack (once it arrives).

I pushed to MY22, but hope to have it by Spring. I’m in Fayetteville and spend a lot of time in Winston-Greensboro area (girlfriend)
