Leonardtown Ford Reservation Holders

Leonardtown Reservation Holders

As we close in on March 19th, where are we with completing orders? I know in January we talked about getting as many turned over as possible to up the 15 unit allocation. What's the vibe, has everyone converted?

Not according to the sales guy I spoke to a few days ago, he said 15.

@LalasBronco yeah Ford goofed here, can't believe you can reserve a ride in July of 2020 and not get it until Jan-Mar 22. Crazy.

Especially when you reserved within the first 12 hours. 😔

I haven't been able to yet. I've called a few times this week and told they cant see my reservation. Ford swears on the phone its there and they just need to make a new order. Not sure what to make of the situation but I am going to call again tomorrow and try to get it sorted out. The Leonardtown staff so far have been friendly so I am hopeful I can get this converted soon. I am starting to sweat the deadline a bit!

@Ecobeast I would almost suggest getting the dealership and Ford helpdesk on the same phone call.

I've not been at work. I'm doing my best to keep the ball rolling forward. It seems Bryan, a manager there, is the 1 that can convert and do pricing. The GM is not allowing Shameka to do both and I'm not clear as to what the big deal is with it. So I spoke with Bryan a few times today to clarify how the process works and where to locate reservations that have not been pulled for converting. His email is [email protected] and if you're still waiting or have not heard PLEASE email him immediately. His main concern was not knowing which people are at MSRP and whom is from here that gets a discount. Please let him know your 1st and last name and that you do get the discount since you're from this forum. The ones I've done all work out better with the 3% off MSRP. He should send u 2 forms, the buyers order AND the Dora both of them YOU MUST SIGN and email back. My cell number is 609 634 1534 so if you're not understanding anything while communicating with him text me. If by Saturday you've not heard back then text me so I can run this above them. This isn't fair to keep this going and going and not have it done for you all by now. And the dealer has 18 plus 3 for FE. Once the deadline hits Ford will look at how many converted reservations there are and allocate more or less depending on who is set for a 21 or 22. If you end up with a 22 you will have a chance to make changes prior to it being built.

I went back and looked at my Order and DORA says $0 and there are no discounts.

@lowmpg Yeah, and I'm on Deployment now so this is going to start getting a little harder for me to manage based on internet connectivity so.....FML!!!

I converted my order last Wednesday. She mentioned sending over a form to sign but I haven’t seen anything yet. Sent some emails and still no responses. I’m assuming this is something I need done soon to make sure my order is in?

I was able to convert today and have my confirmation email from Ford. Now the long wait begins. I’m excited to see my build estimate in May.

I emailed Bryan to ask about my order form and the 3% off and what I'm supposed to sign so just have to wait and see.

Well he replied quick...also got the shitty news that I'm a MY 22. Guess I shouldn't have waited until July 19th to reserve? I don't understand this crap. Or Maybe it's because I have a WT build.

@TXBoy79 I'm with ya man, I don't know how Ford will do with a 24 month turn around on a vehicle. How it is possible that reservations in July 2020 can't be built in 21 is crazy.

@TXBoy79 FWIW, Model Year is not the same as Calendar Year. When I converted NayNay said her Ford Rep gave guidance that MY22 will start to hit the dealers this Nov/Dec (subject to change so actual milage may vary).

@NayNay, can you offer some insight as to how Bryan told me I'm getting a MY22? I'm just curious since I have a Priority Code of 10, I get the expected delays and late availability stuff but I thought you guys wouldn't know until around May if someone wasn't going to be able to get their MY21.

@TXBoy79 honestly there's no way to tell exactly when someone will get a 21 or 22 until Ford knows exactly what they'll have for production and what they won't. It's evolving. Ford will look at the orders that converted after the 19th and let us know. If you're getting the 2.7, 2 doors, certain squatches, certain roof choices, etc, you'll probably get a 22. While it's frustrating waiting and waiting try to stay positive. The ball is rolling and if you get a 22 there's some nice benifits to it. You'll also have a chance to again make changes too. Those that are an early rez holder will be some of the 1st to get theirs too. I personally was really excited to get a 21 then realized I'll probably have a 22, but, the more I thought about it the more I realized I don't want a 21, I want whatever screw ups that will come with the 21 to be fixed before I get mine. I don't want a rushed vehicle that I will want to trade within a year because I see 22s that had more choices than I did and or better equipment etc. Or just less issues. The 21s need to hit to work out any kinks. Just my 2 cents....
