Is anyone already a member of an off-roading club?

Being a total novice to off-roading, I’ve been digging through an existing Off-Road Advice thread and a common theme is finding an Off-Road Group to join.

Obviously this group could mature into that, but I’d love to find an existing/on-going group who regularly meets up to off-road in & around the area

not part of any club, but I know a couple guys with some off-road rigs that I have had some conversations with. One guy is my daughter's freind's dad. He lives down the street from me and drives a 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro - big outdoors guy. He's pumped that I am getting a Bronco and we have plans to get together once I have it. The other guy I know from work, and he's suggested some places for me to go and also has offered to let me tag along with his group. He drives a lifted Toyota Tacoma (I think 2019) TRD Sport. He has a nice set off 33" KO2s - looks really good on this Tacoma with the 2" lift.

So not part of a group.. yet.. but just having some conversations with a couple folks I got some good starting points.

I see enough Lifted Jeeps & Trucks in St Charles, and there’s a couple of vehicle performance companies nearby, so I assume they or clients of theirs have some sort of presence on the forum.

Not part of a club. Lots of jeeps in Columbia. I’d like to put the Bronco through some paces, but not looking to beat up a 60 K+ ride.

@Bustinbronco I agree. There’s an ongoing thread as to what level you’d off-road and I’m probably maxing out at Level 6, because I’m not about to beat up the daily driver.

I definitely want to do some off-roading, but I’m not exactly looking at rock crawling with this. Probably not even 10-15 years in.

I’d rather buy a beater if that’s the case
