Well…we finally did it, swapped to a soft top. The wife has had enough, especially after receiving the email saying a MY21 was not in the cards(no big surprise) She just says “hopefully Ford has their shit together in a year or so and I’ll just get a hard top than” Anyone else gonna go “soft”?

Way too late for me by 78 days. Mine was built yesterday.

Nope, I refuse to give @Ford Motor Company the satisfaction. The two door looks better then the four door. Plus I was a 3/19 order, so I was probably a MY22 to begin with.

Yep making the switch today. Just debating about switching to a black diamond instead of out banks to get the water proof MGV interior

I switched to a soft top when they added the prep kit for hard top. Got my scheduling email yesterday (the first scheduling day since I made the change). It works!

FWIW I always preferred the soft top but wouldn't add it without the plumbing and electrical for the hard top. Win-win for me.

The wife, and I talked about changing, but then the press release reveled the info we needed to make a decision. I know our would a '22 with our Oct. res date. Now that I know the hard top fiasco is over (hopefully) I'll just leave ours as is. Good luck to everyone, may you get your Bronco soon.

I’m gonna stay with the hard top. I am gonna make some changes: gonna take off the paint protection film. Gonna change colors from cactus gray to ether carbonized gray or whatever the new green is.

Considering removing the tow and/or roof rack.

@Tarheel_Wes I diecided to drop the tow package when I re-order. I only use the hitch for a bike rack, and can get an aftermarket hitch much cheaper. An after market one will serve the purpose, and by dropping the factory one it will hopefully expidite my order just a little.

@Wanted33 Tow package doesn't seem to be an issue anymore. Lots of us who got scheduled this week have it.

Oh, do you get the prep kit for switching now? Or did you still have to do that by a certain deadline?

@Tarheel_Wes I wish I had the answer to that. Would be incredibly helpful for those thinking about switching. It can't be just for September builds, right?

@BroncoKong Jr. Anything built September and after is supposed to get it. Sealed the deal for my switch.

It comes with the prep kit, at least that’s what I was told when I swapped
