Anyone receive this email? I signed up for the Metcalf Park one at 8:45am Friday 10/22 session and would love to meet some of you.

I'll be in Hollister Sunday morning - w00t!

I signed up for Friday in San Jose, 11am. Easier/faster to get to for me and Hollister I want to explore with my own Bronco eventually. Hopefully I'll be driving my own there by then, should have shown up last week at my dealer according to the tracker, LOL.

I signed up for Hollister on Saturday the 23rd in the morning....looking forward to it!

Cool stuff, this is new to me. Was it provided to some select folks who are still waiting on their VIN?

@WantSumBronc Dunno. I have a VIN and a week of 6 December build date, got that last week. This came in earlier today.

I signed up for November 7 Hollister!

Just got this as well. Signed up for Prairie City on the 27th!

I’m on for Nov 5 in Hollister. If any of you want to do a great off-road driving course by a bunch of professional no BS people, I strongly recommend The Driving Company. All ex-law enforcement. They do it at Hollister. Plus they organize infrequent social rides for alums. I’ll be doing a refresher in the Bronco. Hopefully in 2022… https://thedrivingcompany.com/

Hollister this Sunday with my buddy. Bringing his 4Runner to do some pre or post fun there.

be interesting to see how muddy things are in San Jose, glad I'm messing up their Bronco and not mine, I don't particularly care for mud or it's removal, LOL. Hopefully it's fun and worth the drive. Hollister is on my radar, but not while it's all wet either. But do post some pix!

@Daktari more crazy is us driving to Vegas for Off-Roadeo in November. Hollister looked the most interesting to us so we shall see.

Will do. Of course, we signed up a while ago before this rain, but I need to get out and it will be fun regardless.

I wonder if they will cancel the Hollister event if we get a massive amount of rain. I'm looking forward to going this Saturday morning.

@U725Bronco I would think they would as a safety precaution, but I have never been to that park and don’t know how well it handles rain and how much rain it will get. We shall find out.

Edit: my buddy pointed out I have been to that park. It was a boondoggle side trip when we went to Carmel for business. I still couldn’t answer how muddy it would get but I remember it was fairly packed ground. It was fun and a nice adventure. For some reason I forgot it was Hollister.

My understanding is the big rainfall on Sunday. I've got a Sunday 10:00 slot.

Weather, I don't believe it till I see it. I still prepare for it though. Jeep has the top off. We were to have rainfall starting Tuesday night and it didn't start till Wednesday night. I will have to keep an eye out on Sunday. Bummer if it cancels, I have been looking forward to it. I think we are a 1ish slot.

I just got a reminder for my event in SJ tomorrow, so seems despite weather it's on. Should be fun to get their Bronco muddy while mine watches from the parking lot :-D

As you may be aware there is rain forecasted overnight and in the early hours of tomorrow morning. We wanted to give you a heads up that the Drive Experience will take place rain or shine, however, depending on the amount of rain the off-road trails may be affected and produce unsafe driving conditions. Should the trails not be safe for off-roading, your timeslot will still stay in place but your drive will instead take place on the paved roads surrounding Metcalf Motorcycle Park.
Please know that safety is our number one priority, but so is giving you time behind the wheel in a Bronco so we will ensure you will still have a great experience driving a Bronco!

So I guess I'm gonna have to wait and see, if it's raining a lot over night and in the morning I'll just stay home, not driving over an hour in my Bronco to drive their Bronco around on paved roads, LOL.

So far the rain hasn't been bad, but who knows what's gonna happen. Just be aware that this might happen for Hollister too, though I don't know if they even have paved roads there.

@Daktari Good to know. I did see rain in the forecast for Hollister on Sunday. Just going to play it by ear. I may still go given I don't have a Bronco to drive on paved roads at this time. But totally would do the same if I were in your shoes. Edit: Not really too bad for the afternoon in Hollister on Sunday. Accuweather says .01" in the afternoon and morning was .03". However, we all know that can change at any time.

good luck! I definitely want to check out Hollister sometime, never been. Make that a weekend with camping or other overnighting eventually. Looks like a great area to play in.

@U725Bronco I am glad I didn't drive 2 hours to get there in this rain. But it does suck for sure! I hope tomorrow is better and you get to experience it at Hollister.

I told them to cancel for me, makes no sense to drive 2+ hours for an hour on pavement and obstacles, hope you have better luck with the weather in Hollister! That's just too far a drive for one hour of fun in my case.

On the other hand, we sure need the rain, so no complaints, the trails will still be there once it's dry again

Anyway, my wife saw the weather forecast <sniff> she says I can't play with you guys.

If anyone wants to go Sunday at 10:00, there may be a standby slot open. (mine)

@TurkeyRun these e-mails were just for the Friday event in San Jose that I had signed up, I'd expect those registered for the other events will get similar notifications if the weather stays wet. Or maybe Hollister has trails that don't turn to mud pits right away? Never been, don't know what it looks like there when wet.

I've heard parts of Hollister do well when it's wet so fingers crossed. I also think most of the rain is Sunday so I'm hoping for my selfish reasons it still works out on Saturday morning. If it does I'll try to remember to snap a few photos.

Sunday does not look good. Especially when weather.com uses words like flooding in their forecast.

I just got an email confirming tomorrow. Actually doing 11am. Nothing has changed…yet.

Was lucky enough to pick up my Badlands a couple of Fridays ago. So far love it, looking for any other Bronco owners in the Bay Area to cruise around with. Happy to let folks still waiting to pick theirs up come and check it out and take it for a test drive!

Hollister was a blast! Not a drop of rain. Of course, going to and coming from we were drenched! I really didn't take any pics as @U725Bronco already did an excellent job of that. Staff were great and very friendly. I was able to drive a 4 door Badlands which made me extremely happy. Our guide, Skip?, was excellent! Very nice and informative and just a pleasure to be around. He took us on some more challenging parts when we were in the Adventure Park part of the course. I am so glad I went and my buddy had a great time too. Skip said Off-Roadeo will be a blast. Something like 6 hours behind the wheel. We can't wait! After our drive we took my friends 4Runner and did about 2 or so more hours off roading. It was a great day! Thank you Ford Team!

@BLMike Damnit wish I had gone now. Would have been at least 2hrs each direction (without a storm) tho.

Well, here's to Off-Roadeo Nevada in November!

The drive went by fast (and it is 2 hrs each way for us too), but my friend and I are use to long trips. When we are working we have had to sometimes drive to Reno to do a demo and come back the same day. Being in the car together makes a big difference and the fact we took his 4Runner was excellent! We are driving to Vegas for Off-Roadeo on the 20th!
