Vegas Roadeo - Heading out this week for the Vegas Roadeo. Incredibly excited. If you've done Vegas I'd love to hear about it. Will report out when I get back.

I went earlier this month. Was impressed with all aspects. The instruction, wheel time, handling of the bronco and the scenery. Would love to go back sometime. A couple key take aways, you may have heard a few of these before...
1. If it is a large group, when you go to select the Bronco that you drive for the day it is first come first serve. So if you are eyeing the 2 door or a specific tri. better be quick. All of the Broncos are Sasquatch on all different trim levels.
2. If you are attending solo, then you most likely will be paired with an instructor. Which was good for me cause there were times when i could get his opinion on the Bronco and certain features of it without interruption.
3. Follow your instructors guidance when they are spotting you over difficult terrain. I have never done any off roading other than gravel roads. So, to have me three wheel, rock crawling by the end of the day was not something i had anticipated but thoroughly enjoyed.
4. The weather. You are at a higher elevation than Downtown Vegas. Probably 1000' or more. So it will be cooler than expected. It was mid 60s the entire day, when i was there on Oct 2. It was perfect. Also, the dry desert climate makes you drink alot of water (at least for me it did) so take restroom breaks when you can. Its a little harder to do so when you are out on the trails.

@JMiles74 Where did you stay and how'd you get out there?

@NewToBronco i stayed at the Red Rock Casino and Resort. As for its location, it was very convenient. If i had to do it over i would've stayed at or near the strip. I rented a car. I had a mustang, the last 1.5 miles are up a dirt road to the Off-Roadeo parking lot. Not ideal for a mustang, but it made it just fine. Glad I rented a car instead of Uber/Lyft. To get anywhere you pretty much had to drive there. Also, I lost cell service a few times going to/from the Off-Roadeo location, so i could see where hailing an Uber/Lyft could pose a challenge...

@JMiles74 Thanks for letting me know. I am staying on the strip and this is at the start of a guy's weekend so wasn't going to rent a car. May have to rethink. Thanks,

Sounds like a blast. I was going to go to the MOAB on last weekend but had to cancel last min. Got it rescheduled for Nov 7th.

Good to know about picking out the Bronco asap if you want a specific one.

@JMiles74 tray mtn is cool but just a forest service road. Don't even need 4x4 really. Beasley Knob OHV is just outside Blairsville GA and is way more technical. Also check out Charlie's creek just west of Clayton. Really cool river crossing etc.

@JMiles74 Honestly Beasley Knob was a little much lol. Was way more than I was expecting and would recommend not going alone like I did. I have some video of Beasley but it doesn't show just how steep all the trails are. I was like 26-27 degree incline/decline a lot of the day.
