Noticed that Mark Ficken Ford in Charlotte has a 20k ADM on a reservation (green window sticker)....uh oh

Might have been turned down by the order holder and subsequently marked up? My dealer told me they would be marking up anything that ended up on their lot, but not the customer’s actual retail orders.

I just confirmed with cross roads of Indian trail and they arent ADMing any actual reservation orders, only stock and abandoned ones. So possible that the Ficken one is abandoned but posting just as FYI

@F2F Im at the apex one, the dealership itself is fine, the "bronco specialist" is a bit lacking. no communication from him unless you reach out first, and only does bare minimum. Didnt even know about Ford halting production on MIC 1.0 until i mentioned it a few weeks later because "i try to stay sway from anything that doesnt help me sale(sic) a vehicle today"

I am with Crossroads of Indian trail. They have been great so far. I have a November build date.

Yeah they were awesome. Taking mine in for my first service visit next Friday.

Anybody know of a 2-door mannequin anywhere around charlotte or anywhere in NC really? I test drove the Badlands 4 cyl auto yesterday at Ft. Mill Ford (they also have a 4cyl Big Bend). The Badlands was Lux package....really nice, really makes me want that package. Driving on I-77, to me, i thought the soft-top was a little noisy.

I'll go drive the one or two at Ficken this weekend, I think they have a 6 cyl and a 4 cyl, hoping the 4 is a manual just to see...but i really wanna drive a 2 door and/or a hardtop.

@Tarheel_Wes Capital Ford of Lillington has a 2 door OBX Sasquatch 2.7 that I test drove a few months back. Im sure that's a bit of a drive for you though.

@Tarheel_Wes I haven't driven by there in a bit but I did see it still there about a month ago. They were great about letting res holders drive it as well, practically threw the keys at me. With that said IDK if it's been claimed & they've changed what they are doing with it, so just call first before you decide to drive all the way there, lol.

@Tarheel_Wes If you are still looking for a 2dr to test drive, Green Ford in Greensboro has a Rapid Red Big Bend 2.7 Sas mannequin. They only do short test drives to my knowledge, a quick up the interstate to an exit that offers an easy way back. Enough interstate to get up and go and a touch of city / light stops to feel the nimbleness. I wish it was longer since I was having a lot of fun when I took it out.

@ogo Thanks man. I drove a 2-door OB in Shelby the other day....but its the 2.3. I'm still looking for a 2.7, but my dealer actually has a 2.7 wildtrak. I'm gonna drive that tomorrow.

My 4D BD got scheduled yesterday for Dec. 20. It’s a 2.7

I want to drive one so bad but want to wait till I get mine hopefully for xmas
