SHOW ME MO BRONCO

Trying to get all Missourians into one group to chat and share Bronco stories and experiences!
I am not sure why I didnt think to check to see if there was a "club" for Missouri Bronco owners/orders when I first joined this site. Anyways, here it is! Love the posts so far, and congratulations to everyone that has already received their Bronco!

A little of my backstory for those who give a @#$%.

In April 2019 I bought a brand new F150 Screw XLT.
In November 2019, I was T-boned, rolled twice and totalled it. Thank you to Ford safety engineers, as I somehow managed to escape with only minor bruising. I talked to a buddy who owned a dealership, and he informed me the Bronco was coming out in roughly 6-9 months.... I thought, "Well I can wait and share my wife's and daughter's car until then"....

I was a day 3 reservation (if i remember correctly), and an immediate order when the order banks opened. Badlands, 4dr, 2.7, MIC, Lux, tow, SAS. Obviously I know how to delay a build!

Here we are 2 years later, I still don't have my "own" vehicle, but I did get a production date (1/31/22) when I swapped to a soft top. Hopefully nothing slips and I have my Bronco by the end of February, although I am not sure what timelines look like after production dates so we will see.

Anyways, once I have my Bronco, Since I live in Lees summit, I will be visiting Kansas Rocks, and probably Smorr shortly after.

Welcome, and glad your truck gave it's life to save yours! I'm just down the road from you in Warrensburg. I took delivery last week, and am loving it so far. I'm looking forward to meeting some other locals and planning on some offroad trips.

@SpeedTwin you will have to let me know where and when you go. What build is your Bronco? any issues with the top so far? (regardless of soft or hard)
SpeedTwin

@Kcmojoe76 it's a 2 door badlands, 7 speed. No issues whatsoever with the top. Normal road noise for this type of vehicle.

@SpeedTwin She sure is Pretty! I really like that color. I guess if I am honest I like most of the Bronco color's. I wanted a 2 door, but have 3 kiddos, so it really wasnt an option.

Hi Joe, I am in the Northland of KC. Got my OBX on Dec. 6th. I had the 4wp Lift/Level installed last week. I am waiting on the dealership to have the new wheels and tires ready now. Going with 35's. I have only seen 2 Broncos outside of dealerships, one on 169 going into downtown and one on 152. It gets a fair amount of attention around here, but not nearly as much as my dune buggy.
Kcmojoe76
2 door or 4 door? What was your reason for not doing SAS from factory?

4 door. We won't do any serious off-roading just some overlanding type stuff. I didn't originally plan to get 35's but after spending so much time looking at pics on here, the 35's just seem like the normal size. I can't really see it any other way now.
Kcmojoe76
I am not sure I will do too much "serious" off-roading either, but I guess it is all in how you define "serious".
I agree the Bronco, especially the 4dr, just looks better with 35's.

I was morning of day 2 with same build as you. Switched it to soft top almost immediately and got mine Sept. 22nd. Since I now work from home, it mostly tools around blue springs, but we road trip a lot. Headed to Colorado to see my son next week. Hope SAS tires work well in the snow!

I grew up in Blue Springs!
Do you have any pictures of your new rig?
My goal eventually is to get painted white hardtop and get the handles and grill in white as well. I would really like that old school Green and white look.

All you KC folks with a built Bronco or build date have me jealous. Day 3 reservation and no build date yet. Non-SAS 4-door BL w/ MIC and 2.7 at Thoroughbred. I think 'someday' as I see more and more in the wild.

@Kcmojoe76 That is a heck of a wait without a vehicle of your own! I'll stop feeling sorry for myself. When it's time I'm going to be sad to see my current ride get traded in for the Bronco. You have an impressive amount of patience.

@Holiday not really patient at all. Frankly it became a financial decision. Initially I figured I would save some money for a couple months for a bigger down payment. As the time stretched on I was just past the point of no return. I didn't want to lose money on a short term vehicle purchase.

I think my daughter and wife are the patient I ones!

@Holiday not that it makes it any better, I was a day 2 just after midnight, or I would have been a day 1 reservation. My bronco has most of the constraints, but I wasn't willing to compromise to get it earlier. Hopefully you will get scheduled soon.

My FE was built 9/02 and it was delivered to Max Motors of Harrisonville on 10/12 and in my care the following day 10/13. But it will be great to see another Bronco roaming around Lee's Summit! I was a day 1 Res holder. Theres not too many that Ive seen, Just Bmclain's Velocity blue and a white Badlands!
