Which one comes in first?

#1) 2dr Basesquatch 2.7/auto ordered from a dealer in KY (selected for me by Ford when I placed my 7/28/20 reservation - don't ask me why they picked a dealer 3,000 miles from where I live). Ordered 2/21/21. Reordered 10/13/21 when bumped to MY22. No VIN or build date yet.

#2) 2dr Base stripper 2.3/7MT ordered 3/7/22 without a reservation from Korum Ford in Puyallup just before the deadline for taking 2022 orders.

I suspect the KY dealer has already run out of 2022 allocations... if so, I'm bumped to a MY23 with my July 2020 reservation. Dealer won't give info on allocations or my place in line, but I know they encouraged a lot of reservation holders to convert to 4dr soft tops.

With the 2nd order, I ordered the easiest 2dr to build as far as chips and all other constraints are concerned.

Well...

1st...thank you for serving. (Ranger, 2nd Battalion). I golfed with a Ranger by happenstance down in Tacoma year ago. Great guy. Young, humble, engaged. Many thanks.

2nd...maybe a zip code entry that connected you to a KY Ford Dealership?

3rd...since you are in Tacoma...i hope your second order comes in first.

4th...lets go wheelin'

@Cat Thanks, Cat. Appreciate it. I did 2 tours with 2/75 Ranger Bn in the 90s. Retired several years ago but still train soldiers on post. Love it.

I thought about the zip code thing... never remember entering one... don't know why it would have defaulted to KY... got nothing there. 🤷‍♂️

KY dealer can have it sent directly to a local dealer - so it doesn't matter which one comes in first. (and having a local order gives me a relationship with a dealership to have it sent to)

Going to need to get one of those Broncos in before I do any wheelin'... not taking any of my classics... and my F150 is 2wd. 😔

I have a similarish question. I changed my Badlands 2 door order (priority #18) to a Wildtrak when the HOSS 3.0 came out. This changed my priority code to #10. I get to wondering if this will actually speed up my delivery or put me farther down in line.

@ezapar I have that same setup. Went with the Badland Apex 12k winch for half the price of the Warn. We shall see if it was a good choice. Love the bumper tho!

@Zhawk025 The WARN has a relocation kit for the (control module?). You can move it up to 30 inches or so away so you can still use the forward camera without obstruction. I'll take a look at the Apex. Though my WARNS have been good to me over the years. ;)

@ezapar The Apex also has a module relocation kit. As well as wired/wireless remote options. I have been impressed so far besides the fact that my particular winch has a malfunctioning wireless receiver. Spoke with HF and they will replace the entire unit no problem. Going to run it with wired remote this week in Moab and then will replace it when I get back home.

Priority 10 -19 codes all mean the same. Most who are getting scheduled and built have these codes. Unless you are a VIP or hot You Tuber, of course.

@66GT 2/75 RLTW Thank you for your service!
My Dad was 275 LRRP E Co. Vietnam. All his cars and motorcycles are running around with Ranger tabs. Always thought he needed a custom vanity plate 275RLTW
