So my 4 door soft top Badlands, SAS, MGV, with Lux in Velocity Blue arrived at Folsom Ford this week. I am going to check it out tomorrow. Unfortunately, this bronco came about 8 months earlier than I thought it would. Life got in the way and I have to walk. It sucks. I had a bad feeling this was going to be the case when I was told I had a VIN so early. I placed a backup order before the orders closed just in case.

So, if anyone is interested in a super sweet Badlands you could probably pick mine up in the upcoming days. There will definitely be a markup from the dealer 10-15k. Just wanted to make sure a forum member had a shot before some rando off the street with deep pockets.

that's my exact order - 4 door, Badlands, Sas, Luxe... I still have no build date (and a res date of 7/20/20), but I'm ordering through Serramonte - I doubt Folsom would sell it to me for MSRP, I just can't stomach a 10k markup . Bummer about your situation, sorry

LOL @Gloff can you have this bronco transferred to your dealership and sell it to me since it's the same exact one (including color) as my order?

Sorry to hear you can't pick it up, hopefully you can get MSRP on your backup. Mine just arrived today at my dealership, I get to pick it up tomorrow!

That is awesome. Congrats on your Bronco! My dealer is really good. They are doing MSRP on all Bronco orders.

I know things get in the way, and life changes. But I'm confused as to how it got here to early? I'm 600+ days since I told ford I wanted a Bronco.

@da_jokker no idea. Ford's bad system I guess. I had no res, and built with a soft top assuming that would give me a late 2022 delivery. I was worried if I ordered with hard top it would be 2024 based on my readings here.

I placed every constraint on my back up order to avoid this again.

Wish I could trade spots with you since my order is the exact same build, even color. I have no build date yet.

Tomorrow I am going to take a look at it, and to give my sales rep the news that I will be passing. After that I am sure it will be on display at Folsom Ford.

Cool of you to offer. I'd even consider it (though I didn't want SAS), but I cannot stomach that markup either. I also ordered with Serramonte and don't have a build date.
It was estimated I'd get a 22, but with the recent rumors about features like nav being stripped, I'm seriously considering pushing my order back. Just waiting for Ford to release some official communication before I reach out to Sean.

@Natai I'm thinking of doing the same thing. I dropped my tow like three or four weeks ago hoping to get a vin, And now I'm second guessing even that. I wanted a fully loaded WT (sans LUX and Leather) And now I'm looking at one missing towing and now NAV, And who knows what else before it finally gets built.

@da_jokker keep the tow at this point. Production is coming up. Might as well stick it out and get the Bronco you want.

@da_jokker I also pulled my tow package not long ago. I'm fine with that, as I just want the receiver for a cargo carrier and don't plan to actually tow. Already got an aftermarket receiver waiting. Since the nav story is now being contradicted, I'm going to wait and see a while longer.

i second it, keep the order as you originally wanted. i been a day 1 res as well but never changed anything on my order including the MIC top and LUX package, glad i didn't tbh seeing how much these hard tops are going for on the market justifies alone the wait lol.

I am gonna agree with @Scape Goat , I think the gates are going to open up. Especially if they get the chip issue in check and they are getting better at the production part. Hold the line and get the WT you want @da_jokker and @Natai

@calgecko I officially have walked from this order. I placed a backup order before the March cut off, so I will have that come through at some point. Just found out this morning that my wife is pregnant. This was the final deciding factor that it made sense to wait. Hopefully this Bronco goes to a good home.

Not yet. I will probably be picking it up at the end of the week. I need to transfer some funds for down payment. I found a scratch on the inside of the driver door. Sounds like the only thing they are willing to do is a touch up. Little disheartening. My sales guy is going to try and spring for a repaint, but I doubt they will do it. So I am playing it by ear to see what happens.

Congratulations on the pregnancy! I talked to the dealer today. $15k markup now. And they told me that they’ve heard from other buyers that Serramonte was not honoring the discounts they’ve promised. I let her know I had seen the opposite from feedback on here about @Gloff and will continue to wait. Sounds like you know someone I used to work with in Rocklin named Ryanne. Small world!

@Scape Goat I just googled atlas blue. It’s pretty in the light, but too dark for me. My last car was a 2016 Mustang in Deep Impact Blue, and while it was gorgeous when it was clean, it was impossible to keep clean for long. I never want a color that dark again. If I get pushed to 2023 (god I hope not) and VB goes away, I’ll probably go with silver

@calgecko Silver is one of my backup colors too. But, I would love it if they brought Desert Sand across all trims.

Went by Folsom ford today to look at it in person - I hadn't seen a Sasquatch in person yet - it's already sold! They do have a Cactus Gray Wildtrack on the showroom floor - $90k! .. that thing is amazing looking though. I was able to take a 4door manual Badlands for a test drive for fun - truly impressed with the ride quality, seat comfort, and the 2.3 with the manual trans moved pretty well too.. but I'm not paying a $20k markup LOL
