Looks great! Do you drive around with the rear gate open and just taking off a couple panels? I have a MIC too and was wondering about this.

@Wark You mean the window? No, haven't tried that yet. Just didn't bother closing it while going to install the Curt hitch.

@tongsun3717 Yeah, someone posted to avoid the parachuting effect of not having the rear panels of the MIC off, the rear gate can be opened. I'm wondering about whether it wears on the struts of the gate.

@Wark The trouble is that one has to open the side-opening gate to 91 degrees to be able to lift up the window. In a parking lot, if I park the Bronco toward the outside (so to leave easily) and a car park behind me very close, then I cannot open the gate. The good thing about the 2 door Bronco is that it is short, so I would have room to move it forward without blocking the pathway by too much.

I have the desire to drive with the back window open for two reasons, occasionally carrying a long object or let air through while half-topless. I am afraid that the hydraulic poles are not designed to be strong enough to support the window glass for normal speed bumpy driving. I will only try if it's going to hold the window glass in place for short distance slow driving, until I no longer care about the Bronco and it becomes easy to get repair parts.
