Had a blast down in Port A this weekend (despite the rip tide)!

I saw a few Broncos on the beach while I was down but not as many as I hoped for.

This got me thinking if we need to do a meet down at the beach. If so I'd say for next year so that we could work on figuring out the logistics (and hopefully everyone will have theirs by then lol) . I know the mustang group used to have (not sure if they still do) the MustangFest down there every year. It would be pretty sweet to have a ton of Bronco's lined up on the sand and have a good time by the water! Any who if y'all might be interested please pop a message below and if I get enough interest (and I have enough time), I will make a thread in the Texas section with some sort of Google poll to figure out best dates, places of stay/camping on beach, itinerary, etc...

Bolivar is a great place. Just make sure we don’t become the “Go Topless Jeep Weekend” people. 100+ arrests at last years even. Drunks, fights, thefts etc. we gotta be more classy.

We don't have to do "everything" the Jeepers do. Bolivar works. South Padre might be too far for some, but there's a lot of beach to explore.

Was is Galveston for the weekend. The riptide was gnarly. Had the Bronco on the beach once, but kept out of the water. The bay breezes made a mess of the vehicle with all the dried salt spray. Would love to explore pineywood trails.
