Very fortunate to have my saleman help me into a vehicle that another early reservation holder was unable to follow through with - 2dr - same A51 color I had on order. Except it was a loaded BL SAS instead of a Basesquatch.

Told him I really hoped original res holder could work it out. Only wanted to be considered if there was no way possible for them.

I pick it up tomorrow after ceramic and tint.

Delivered to the dealer with evidence of a factory joy ride... lol

I hope they don't stick you with an ADM!!!

Long story, but my Jul '20 reservation is with a dealer in Kentucky that Ford paired me up with some unknown reason. I am 99% sure their allocations won't get me built until 2023.

Placed a second order locally at the same time my son put in a walk-in order for a Bronco of his own.

In my opinion - For a dealer to ask a reasonable ADM in a market like this.. in this kind of sitiation is win-win. They made it clear that my reservation and patience mattered to them... and the fact that it was a 2dr in A51 was a perfect coincidence.

Timing was perfect and as interest rates are climbing fast, they got me 2.99%

Totally grateful for how it worked out.

@66GT Not bad at all considering the craziness that they are trying to pull in Kirkland! $30k markup there! I'm glad I got my for MSRP.....but ordered a hardtop and that was crazy! YOLO!

@PatioDaddio78 I know. That's nuts. They are well aware of what they could get if they wanted to (like other dealers in Puyallup/Tacoma/Olympia area). Their reputation is important to them.
