I drove solo on Union springs to Flagpole knob yesterday. It was challenging in places. It definitely put my skills and the the limits of my base to the test. As I approched a few rock obstacles I thought to myself there is no way I am getting up that. Luckily for me a lot of the rock stacking was already done because some ledges are tall.
This trail is the real deal. The RC SR2 rails did their job and protected my rockers on two occasions, I am absolutely impressed with the base on BFG A/T 285/75r16. I arrived around noon, 87 degrees and sunny, I made it to Flagpole around 330 it was 73 degrees and threatening storms, skirted a couple storms on the way home and I learned that with the T tops and middle top off combined with the Bimini cruising 35 or above will keep out light rain and 55 or above keeps out moderate rain. Happy trails.....
