Anyone in Indiana familiar with the laws around pod lights? By what im finding it seems they arent technically road legal. I dont think it would be a big issue but if someone is having a bad day I am just curious if they could give me issues for having them.

With regards to just having them on the vehicle or running on-road with them on? I've got the Ford accessory set on mine which come with caps which are not installed. If you're talking about running down the highway with them on, I'd worry more about another motorist than the police.

I would be surprised if anyone ever said anything. Technically, they should be covered if you are on the highway, but most people drive with them exposed and turned off.

Just having them mounted on the vehicle and not on. The thing that through me off was i read something about not more than one light so it made me wonder if having two pod lights covered and off were legal or not.

Do it. Live on the edge a little.

What pod lights are you going with? I am thinking about adding them on my Wildtrak and definitely adding them to my Braptor when it gets here.

@timbal1963 Just going with the rigid 360 4" that ford has for sale. Had some points to use from my vehicle purchase. Definitly going to have to get some different colors, I'm a huge Ford guy but i despise the ford performance covers that come with em

@WLDTRK Agree with that. I've seen someone on here put vinyl on them or had them painted. Not sure which, but it should be easy to modify.

You will be fine. Likely wont be a reason to pull you over but if you piss them off they may add it to your ticket for the original reason they pulled you over. Similar to window tint in that regard, not likely the reason you will get pulled over.
