Hey Guys. I live over in Terre Haute. I have been trying to join the Facebook group but haven't gotten a response. I'm headed down to SCE 2024 and already have a room reserved. Would love to hang and meet ya'll. I also go to Badlands in Attica often so if anyone is looking to wheel let me know.

Ok group unless you're a low tech non social media type of person. Just a face book club. They put up a website but it has had zero activity since put up.

This post is from Last year.... The Club has over a thousand members, posts every day. The Web Page is for the non technicals. We have multiple Admins so unless your FB Profile is new or a "page" as long as you answer the questions and agree to the rules you're good to go.
Hi guys. Just got my Wildtrak and lost internet when trying to join the Facebook group, and was denied due to the application not being filled out. Wanting to keep my ear to the ground for any community events in Indiana.

Anyone ever been to Silver Lake and run the dunes? Reserved a campsite for 5/10. My wife wants to hit up the tulip festival in Holland and then we’re going to head up, wheel a bit and camp. Looks like you need a park passport and OVR license, plus a front mounted flag. Should be a time.

Yes went up there for the first time at the end of last season, was a blast, Good luck finding the park passport, there was never anyone at the actual booth to sell them but one of the offroad stores right by the entrance sells them.. and they were conveniently out of day passes so had to buy full year.

Still completely worth it :) And will be headed back up there at some point this year.

Awesome, thanks!! Looks like you can buy annual online, so might be worth it just to secure it and incase I make a follow-up trip later in the year! Thanks again

Any Southern IN people here?

I’m heading to Slade KY this Saturday if anyone wants to go supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny. Be an easy/medium day I plan to start at spass creek then to Wayne benson rd, Johnson hollow and Clifton rd. Will hit pumpkin hollow rd on the way back to the hwy if anyone wants too. Meet up will be 10am at rest stop at the Slade exit. 33s and up tires should be fine for everything having a locker is a plus too but not needed.

If no interest for Saturday I’ll probably go Friday and arrive there in Slade around 1pm. I plan to run the same route but I’m sure it will turn into a small night ride. So if anyone wants a Friday ride that’s an option.

If anyone wants to join a fb group that wheels often in the Red River gorge area search this on fb and join. “Bronco Offroad Meets”

Going Saturday March 2 back to Slade KY for those interested. Easy/Medium more so easy day to try and get new people to offroad, plan is to run New Virginia, Sinking Creek, Cave Fork, Larison and Fixer rd. Same as before 33s and up is all you need. Probably stop at the hidden lake to grill some burgers on the trail for lunch.

Date subject to change if it’s going to be raining all day. 10am at the rest area, Slade exit.

Hey Fellow Hoosiers! Greetings from Montgomery County! I'm looking for anyone who might have a stock steel rear bumper available. It would need to be high package or above i believe. I have an OBX SAS high with a modular and just want to replace the factory plastic rear with a factory steel. I haven't found an aftermarket bumper yet that goes well with the front mod bumper. Needs rear sensors obviously.

Thanks!

Entirely subjective but the DV8 rear bumper is the best affordable aftermarket rear bumper if you haven't looked into that one.

Finally had a chance to break her in this weekend. Got to use all of the features. Trail turn assist is awesome in slick mud, especially when you’re trying to avoid brush to save paint!

Kind of a haul from Ft. Wayne but Bandlands ORP is a great place to learn. Chicagoland Broncos usually heads there once a month or so.

Thanks, Teke. Badlands ORP is definitely on the list! I was also thinking about hitting the dunes in Michigan sometime. Any advice is appreciated as I don't wanna get myself into trouble. I'm considering attending an Off Rodeo before I make any trips out on my own...

@Coopertribe I'm just down the road from you in Winona Lake. As far as the dunes, one of the best events that I've gone to there is the Bronco Takeover in August. https://www.broncotakeover.net/
The best advise I can give you is dropping your air pressure to around 10psi. It make a lot of difference getting around in the sand.

Anyone dealt with Capitol City Ford (or Bill Thompson Ford)? They bought Inskeep Ford so was just curious to see if my experience will be any different than what I've had so far with Inskeep. Current agreement is MSRP (which I have inquired about with the sales manager) but wanted to know if Capitol City was also currently doing MSRP on orders.

Just a quick message for anyone that has an order with Ruxer. We've gone through the COVP for '23 MY orders and all but 4 have been submitted and APPROVED. I'm not going to drop names but we've made multiple attempts to contact these 4 via email, text and old fashioned phone call. If you have an order with us and have not been in contact about your '23 order, do so ASAP. One week from today is the deadline and after that your order will be purged by Ford.

Also, since there's been some issues with SAS package dropping when the order was rolled from '22 to '23, I strongly encourage you to contact your sales person or DM'ing me for a copy of your DORA. We want everyone to look it over and make sure it's correct. Once Ford pulls the order, it's not able to be modified.

Hey all..new member here. I’m about 99% sure I’ll be ordering when the order banks open again and was hoping to get some dealer insight. Can anyone vouch for a reputable dealership in and around the Fort Wayne area? Thanks in advance!

Got mine down here in Northern Indianapolis. Don Hinds Ford, Duane Adams. It was a very positive experience even ended up buying a Explorer ST there. I know it’s not local but definitely worth the ride. Also come join Indiana Broncos on Facebook and ask the question we have over 450 members in Indiana

Check out Brad Howell Ford. They will sell at MSRP for orders. I had a very negative experience with O'Daniel Ford, so I would not recommend them. I also can say Hubler in Muncie will do MSRP.

Mark Moats Ford in Defiance, OH, they stick to MSRP and they're about 45-50 mins from Ft. Wayne. my sales guy was Hector and he was awesome!

Anyone in Indiana familiar with the laws around pod lights? By what im finding it seems they arent technically road legal. I dont think it would be a big issue but if someone is having a bad day I am just curious if they could give me issues for having them.

Just having them mounted on the vehicle and not on. The thing that through me off was i read something about not more than one light so it made me wonder if having two pod lights covered and off were legal or not.

Do it. Live on the edge a little. 🤣 What pod lights are you going with? I am thinking about adding them on my Wildtrak and definitely adding them to my Braptor when it gets here.

@timbal1963 Just going with the rigid 360 4" that ford has for sale. Had some points to use from my vehicle purchase. Definitly going to have to get some different colors, I'm a huge Ford guy but i despise the ford performance covers that come with em
timbal1963
timbal1963
@WLDTRK Agree with that. I've seen someone on here put vinyl on them or had them painted. Not sure which, but it should be easy to modify.

You will be fine. Likely wont be a reason to pull you over but if you piss them off they may add it to your ticket for the original reason they pulled you over. Similar to window tint in that regard, not likely the reason you will get pulled over.

I have had my Wildtrak since September. It was well worth the wait. It’s fun being the only one in our area to have one, lots of double takes. We were able to remove all doors and roof on a nice day in October, amazing.
