Yeah those wheels need some attention. Lighter than stock Sas wheels? Same spec? We’d love some details

Volk TE37s :)

Same specs as SAS wheels (including offset)? They sure rock the retro-look on a Bronco - very nice!

Thank you everyone for the kind words about the wheels.

For those asking specs/ details:
VOLK RACING TE37XT M-SPEC - 17X8.5 / -10 / 6X139.7

According to one site, the wheel weighs "17.46 lbs per wheel"
When I have another set come in, I'll try to remember to weigh em

Thoughts behind the wheel choice:
I've always been a big fan of the white wheels, blue truck combo on the Defenders and Gen 1 Bronco. This is my take on that look with a JDM twist. I grew up on Japanese car culture so when my shop became an authorized dealer for Rays Wheels (one of the biggest names in aftermarket Japanese wheel manufacturer) I thought it would only be appropriate to celebrate such an achievement by rocking their signature wheel the "TE37". Black would've been tight but the white checked off the "retro" box.

I'm super happy that they fit right on without the need of a spacer/ adapter.

@Love Shop Auto Lo Do you guys have the capability to mount and balance tires nowadays? How about mounting tires on beadlock?

I could be interested in the Bilstein shocks to put on my Black Diamond. Really need to pull the trigger on some 35s too

@Doomz

I checked with my distributors and the bilsteins are going to be available around late fall. As for 35’s we had a shortage but most brands if not all seem to be available

We definitely have the capability to mount and balance wheels

As for bead locks we usually ask our customers Leave the truck/ wheels for a couple hours since it takes some time torquing down each wheel

I am also interested in changing to bilsteins for my black diamond. Do I need to change the control arms

@grenjith7

My rule of thumb with my customers in Toyotas (and I’m going to lean on the same applies for Broncos) is 2” above = uca if you go off-roading where you’re flexing out your suspension

2” and below* = no UCA’s if you’re keeping it on pavement

I will soon be lifting my truck 2”+ soon and since I do a fair amount of crawling I will be getting SPC UCA’s so I can
1) get my truck within proper alignment specs

2) get the most articulation

3) not stress the oem uca joint
