Is anyone here who is well versed in FORScan willing to do a couple of changes on my Bronco? Payment is certainly on the table.
I would like to get the permeant amber light hack for the running lights.

I have read thru this. My main problem is that I don’t have a Windows machine and can’t run FORScan on my Mac.

I’m also in the market for this service. :)

I’ve been making adjustments for several people. I haven’t done that one yet but I’m happy to do it. I’m in Argyle.

I am in Ft Worth and can drive up most anytime. Here is the amber DRL mod I would like to do.

2) Follow the instructions here to get FORScan installed and a temp key. The instructions only show 3 of the modules to backup. Make sure you backup any other modules you are going to modify. For the amber DRL, you will be modifying BdyCM module. You can find the Google sheet for known FORScan mods here.
3) In the BdyCM module, look for the address 726-43-01 and modify the first 2 bytes to 0x0101.
4) Enjoy your beautiful amber DRLs!

@MannyG20 I have followed quite a few threads on this change and its just as easy as the rest of them. It looks like the amber DRLs will only be amber during the day and nobody has figured out how to keep them amber at night. shoot me an email if you don't find anyone closer... I'm around until next week then my schedule gets crazy. [email protected]

This is probably not helpful for anyone who doesn't write software all day but here's my notes for getting FORScan to run on a mac. It wasn't easy.

@Gangstead these instructions were incredible! Got it working perfectly on my M1 Mac. You should post a formal thread on this on its own, if you haven't already. Tons of people asking how to get FORScan working on the M1 Mac, and this is the only guide I've found to help do it for free.

As you mentioned, exact instructions vary by day of the week / phase of the moon etc - only changes for my install were that symlink went at ~/Applications/Wineskin/FORScan.app/Contents/SharedSupport/prefix/dosdevices/com1 (presumably a change in newest version of Wine or just my own personal install)

Thank you again!

Great idea. I'll post it somewhere else
