Just a heads up to everyone that doesn't know what Drummond Island is like. Its ROCKY. VERY ROCKY. There will be water holes. Some spots are quite deep but have by passes around them. You will want some kind of boot. Rubber waterproof work well, but any boot will be fine. You will want a coat. I can be very cool on the island and there is generally at least some breeze. You will want to air down your tires some, how much is up to you. You don't have too air down, but it will be a very rough ride if you don't.
Bring a camera. There will be awesome views. Marblehead is a sight if you haven't seen it before. Shale Beach is another pretty spot. Up on Maxton Plains you may see deer or bear. You can see the critters anywhere, but most of them I see is up on the Plains.
Gas up in detour. You can get gas on the island, but its not cheap. Same for everything else. Most things are more expensive over there. So the more you can get off island and take with you the better you will be.
The gas station on the island has a compressor that is free for anyone to use for airing tires back up when you are ready to go.
Go slow and have fun.
