Just FYI, we may put together a club meet up next Saturday (15th) starting in Tawas, winding through some of the Huron-Manistee State and National Forest and ending up in Oscoda or Harrisville, depending on timing and group interest. It will be a combination of pavement, two tracks, interesting sites and 10 miles of mild sand ORV route. Great for people that don't like tight trails, want to explore a new area or see some really cool fall colors. This is just a "hold the date". I am headed up tomorrow and need to see where am on a couple of other projects and verify the colors are going to be good. We will get an official announcement out by Sunday evening or Monday morning. I f you have an interest, just reply to this post, so we can get some idea of potential count.

Here is part of the route, on GAIA. https://www.gaiagps.com/map/?loc=11...&trackId=3b48a98a-8ca6-427e-9837-82f3d06dbf8a

Wish I could. *Hopefully* I will have my bronco by then (praying to the convoy loading gods) but I have a jeep event I am committed to that day. Enjoy the colors!

Crap. I really want to get to know the trails up that way...but we'll be in Moab that weekend.

We have a cottage and go often. I am always happy to meet up and play around in the woods! We may use this spot for at least one winter ride too. Because it's a bit drier on the East side, 1. There are not as many snowmobile trails to conflict with. 2. The snow is often drier and not as deep, which makes almost all the two tracks somewhat challenging and a lot of fun.
