Looking to sell my 2023 Black Diamond if anyone in here is interested, or knows someone who is looking for one. It was just built last week, and the estimated arrival date to my dealer is Tuesday, January 3rd (metro-Atlanta area).

Please know, I am looking to make money off of this sale so I will not be selling for MSRP. With that said, I'm also not trying to make out like a bandit here, I'm willing to negotiate on a number that we're both comfortable with. My dealer has offered me $7k over MSRP trade-in value (I have a Badlands being built in January) so I'm just exploring my options! Window sticker attached.

Over MSRP is dying a slow painful death. A lot of dealers are sitting there with so much invested cars, especially used ones that they cannot sell. With interest rates climbing and inflation kicking peoples ass... Car dealers are learning a lesson.

Oh I know, prices are steadily dropping. Worst case scenario I take the $7k trade deal. Just putting feelers out to what other options I may have

Just my opinion but $7k for literally zero effort would be the definition of making out like a bandit.

I'm guessing you're looking for offers in excess of the offer you already have?

Correct. $7k from the dealer is definitely more than I expected to get, so I won’t be mad at taking that option if that’s what I’m left with. I found a buyer that wanted to just pay me the cash difference of what I was asking over MSRP, then have me “refuse delivery” so they could buy it directly from my dealership (that way they can still have a trade-in if they want, could use plan pricing, etc.) at MSRP. My dealer said doing this wouldn’t be a problem, but the buyer backed out today.

So if I find someone offering over $7k, great, we’ll work something out. If not, no biggie I’ll trade it in come February.
