I'm cautiously optimistic I am going to see my Bronco before Haleys Comet returns.
I received this email from my dealership yesterday
"

Kevin,

I am happy to inform you that your vehicle is very close to arriving. Your Bronco has arrived by train to the transport yard in Richmond, CA and is waiting to be assigned to a transport carrier to start its final leg to our dealership. Unfortunately, we are not given an exact ETA of your vehicles' arrival, we do however want to be as prepared as possible so that we can provide a smooth delivery. Every purchase is different, but we wanted to inform you of some required items we will need to complete your transaction. We also wanted to inform you of other services we offer to make your vehicle ownership complete.

So this is good right? Has anyone run into any major snags once you see this email?
My entire process has actually gone well.
I ordered on 11/07/22
Received a schedule to be built on 12/9/22
Got an email from Ford saying the production date was moved to 12/16/22.
On 12/12 it went to build and was completed on 12/22.
Now I see it was shipped to CA and is waiting to be transported soon.
After reading the horror stories I feel fortunate to be where I am to date.
Knock on wood ( or my head )....this goes as planned.
I'm ready to start upgrading the Base Badboy.

Looks good to me, it took almost 2 weeks for my bronco to go from final rail yard to the dealer, but mine was delivered around the thanksgiving holiday so that probably added some time.

Clear communication like this is a good sign from your dealer. If you're financing I'd look at credit unions and not ford. Everyones rates are terrible now, but Ford's were extra bad. It was nice to walk into my dealer, hand them a check and walk out 30 min later.

Same scenario for me. May 9 build week, got on a westbound train fairly quickly then was stuck in purgatory (Richmond) awaiting truck transport over the Sierra.

The sales team at Capital Ford kept me informed as much as they could and honored all aspects of the deal when my Bronco arrived a few weeks later.

Don’t worry (too much)!

I appreciate the responses...thank you. I have to say the communucation with Capital and the timely emails from Ford have been a reassurance that all is in balance in world. This is probably the last new car I will ever purchase and to date the experience has been easy to understand....no hiccups and painless. Thank you again.

That’s great they give you that level of detail! I just got a picture of mine on the lot from the salesman the day it arrived

That's awesome they gave you a picture of your Bronco. Hopefully my update is just like that. I'm ready for my pic too.
