Can anyone recommend an audio shop to upgrade the stock setup in my 2022 4 door soft top Black Diamond? Looking for high value versus high price. Thanks.

IMO - the highest value you can get is adding the Key 200.4 amp yourself and changing out the dash speakers. If you do not add a sub (or even if you do) change out the kick panel speakers to a pair that handles the low to mid range frequencies well. This is a very easy upgrade and IMO will get you to 80% of what an audio shop will get you at a fraction of the cost.

@MannyG20 how difficult is this for someone who has never messed with this stuff? Do you have any speakers you recommend or videos that helped you do it?

@TheLawnDart - I had never installed an amp before installing the Key amp in my Bronco. The hardest part is getting over the feeling that you are going to break something when you are pulling off the interior trim pieces. There are literally dozens of threads you can read but the link below gives you a video for a real time installation. It took this guy 30 minutes for the amp install.

@TheLawnDart - for speakers there are lots of options. I used 4” Kickers in the dash and Memphis MJP6 in the kick panels. I do highly recommend the Memphis speakers for the kick labels but for the dash lots of people use Focal or Infinity Reference speakers there. There are many that even say you don’t have to upgrade the factory speakers once you add the Key amp but if you are adding the amp I think you should go ahead and upgrade the speakers.
I also changed out the rear pod speakers to 4” Kickers but honestly you hardly get any sound from the rear pods. If you want more sound from the rear you will need to do a search on the forum and look at your options - or go to an audio shop.
Lastly, if you want to add a sub again search the forums. There are many great threads in this. I added a sub in the OEM position where the B&O sub goes. It wasn’t hard but it was a lot more time and effort (and expense) than the Key 200.4 amp and front speakers. I am glad I did it but I don’t know if I would do it again

I did this myself and it was pretty easy. I bought the wiring harness with the amp so I didn't have to cut anything; plug and play. I do need to upgrade the speakers at some point.
my suggestion is to install the amp under the dash column on the metal plate and barely if at all, give the dials a slight turn. I really didn't need to do that until I get new speakers, but I can adjust it anytime by just pulling down the panel under the steering wheel.

Edit: That metal plate is sharp as FFFFF, so be careful handling it.

Here's a related question, I think. I have a 2 dr Wildtrack with the capable bumper. I'd like to get fog lights added that fit the bumper (don't get me started on the license plate conflict) but I'm not interested in tackling this myself. Does anyone know of a reliable shop that can install lights?

@clearedhot it doesn't have Fog lights? Or are you getting new ones?

It doesn't have fog lights. Nice holes for some though.
