Father's Day ride to the Coves
What could be a better way to spend your Father’s day then out on the trail with friends and family. Since we’ve had some interest, we will be hosting an easy, fun ride on Sunday, June 18th.
We will meet up at the 4 Peaks Cottonwood Staging Area and head down through The Rolls to the Saguaro Lake coves. Not sure how busy it will be down there, but nothing says Father’s day like a trip to the lake.
Meet up at the Cottonwood OHV Staging area off Four Peaks Road and Highway 87 (33.666764, -111.474032) at or around 10:00AM, air down and hit the trail no later than 10:30AM. Hoping it is not too busy when we get down there, but regardless it should be a fun time.
What to bring…
• Lunch for you and your family
• Plenty of water and liquids
• GMRS/FRS Radio (we’re usually on channel 7 on the trails)
• Chairs
• Kids, Dogs, Cats, Cows, Horses (Whatever else tickles your fancy!)
This should be an easy run and a lot of fun for Father’s day.
