Lighting professionals?
Hey anyone know any good lighting installation companies I can bring lights to?
I'm going to purchase Rough country light bar
Triple amber fog lights for the bumper
And two pod lights

But id like them all to be wired to the aux switches and I'm not a very handy electrician

Sorry I didn't see this post until today. It was a mix of dirt roads, downhill obstacles, sand, high speed washes, hill climbs and ridgeline driving. Great time for all who came. Had a total of 8 vehicles for the newbies and 11 for the alumni group.

This group is moderately active. If you are in Arizona, we have a Facebook Group - Arizona Broncos that is very active. There is also a Tucson Broncos Facebook group. Additionally there is Phoenix Broncos which is less active. The Arizona Broncos group coordinates a number of group rides that we try to cross post here as well.

What skinbnzaz said. I joined the FB group and its amping me up even more to get my steed. They seem to always be planning something, and for all levels.

I am heading to Phoenix for work with my 2024 Badlands Sasquatch. I don't have Facebook but would like to find some like minded individuals to get out with and do some camping and wheeling. Is there a contract i can get with when I get there?
sklnbnzaz
Ok... Trying to figure out if this group has died or who the actual owner of the group is. It appears that I have been the only member that has posted since August. I won't waste anyone's time if the group is dead

We post up every public group run on the Arizona Broncos Facebook page which is very active. I do my best to get as much as possible cross posted which is why I am asking about the actual group activity. I highly suggest to anyone who is searching for group runs to join the group. The length of time it takes to plan, organize and execute these runs makes it easy to forget about cross posting for the few that do not use FB.

Hi @sklnbnzaz. I have joined a couple of the group rides you've organized. It has been awhile since the last one (maybe the sunrise ride up 4 peaks a year or so ago). I do appreciate you cross posting over here. Someday I plan on joining you guys on another one of these.

In the coming days, we will be posting up runs and events for most every weekend day and some week-nights through Mid - December.

We do our best to cross post events when we can, but as this is not a very active group, it sometimes gets missed. These will be posted in the Arizona Broncos Facebook Group Page.

We have so many new Bronco owners and the weather is coming into our favor now. Lots of requests for organized trail runs and newbie events have been coming in!

Additionally, we have our Toy Drive going on so we want to give people who are able, the opportunity to give back and have fun all at the same time.

We will have trail runs from shorter 2 hour rides to all day affairs. Day and Night runs from Newbie and Easy, to Higher Moderate trails. A bit of everything for everyone. Some trails will be sport friendly as well. We will also be running both West and East side trails.

Keep an eye out for the upcoming events and get them on your calendar, you won't want to miss out on this season of trails!

We put a lot of time and planning in to these to give everyone the best possible experience on the trail. We just hope that, if you're new to this hobby, we can give you an experience to remember and keep you coming back for more.

Some things to remember on our group runs.
  • Nobody left behind, EVER...
  • Come prepared with plenty of food and water along with your off-road "gear". (you do not need to spend a bunch of money just to get out once in a while, our trail leaders are seasoned and prepared).
  • Make sure you have a GMRS radio and know how to operate it. (We do normally have loaners available)
  • Pack it in, Pack it out. Leave the trail better than you found it.
  • No Drugs or Alcohol please on the trail.

Nena Barlow is teaching 101, 201 and 301 recovery classes this fall at Table Mesa. She has been in the off-road industry for longer then she would probably want to admit. She also works closely with Tread Lightly to develop curriculum and basically keep our trails in good enough shape to prevent closures.

Run starting in the West Valley! Sunday 5.26.2024. Castle Hot Springs to Mayer

It has been a while since we put together a run that actually starts in the West Valley area that is also something for most everyone. While it is not a “newbie run” in our traditional sense, this is a trail that most can do.

We are going to run from Castle Hotsprings up through the Bradshaws and end in Mayer.
There are a few spots that get a little chunky here and there but no major obstacles to worry about through the run. I am hoping for a great Sunday ride! We have done a number of more technical rides recently so it is time for something a little more leisurely! Along the route are a couple spots that are a little chunky and may cause pause for a new driver, but nothing that any Sasquatch or Non Sasquatch Bronco can’t handle. I would not bring a Bronco Sport up here though. If, in those couple areas you need a spot or help, we will be there for you!

We will meet at 9:30AM Sunday May 26th at the Shell station on the corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Old Carefree Highway. (Coordinates 33.79749, -112.24220). We will head out at 9:45 sharp.
From there we will ride up together to stage and air down when we leave pavement and start up past Castle Hot Springs. The route will take us up past the Castle Hot Springs Resort, up Cow Creek road, then we will hit FS362 and on up to Senator Highway (FS52). We will continue on Senator Highway but rather than following it on in to Prescott we will turn off on FS67 and head towards Mayer. (This trail is NOT the backway to Crown King.). We will stop for lunch along the trail so don’t forget something to eat! This is a 56 mile track.
The Bradshaws are beautiful this time of year so this ride should get us out of the heat and provide some stunning views!

When we ran this at night the opposite direction in August of last year it took us about 6 hours with 3 ½ hours of actual moving time on the trail and a couple hours stopped for the sunset. Please plan for around 6 hours with stops depending on how many stops we make and the size of the group.
As always…. On ANY trail in Arizona there is an inherent risk of Arizona pin stripes or scrapes/scratches. The Arizona Broncos group does not take any responsibility for any damage that may happen along the trail.

What to bring (The basics)
• GMRS Radio (We will pick the channel when we air down). PLEASE, make sure you know how to use your radio before we go!
• More water and drinks than you think you will need
• Bring a lunch and chairs for when we break
• We will air down but if you don’t have a compressor, we can help out

Picture of the track is included. Reach out if you have any questions! Looking forward to a great day.

Welcome to Arizona. Foutz Motorsports for Baja suspension type work, Doetsch Offroad for SEMA builds, they can probably do the re gearing, SDHQ is also very well regarded. Desert Rat is pretty big in the Jeep scene. Hope that helps.

Group- I am coming to the Tucson area in April and was seeking some recommendations on trails in the area. I am not looking for extreme rock crawling but will take any and all recommendations outside of that.
thanks and I can’t wait to see some beautiful Arizona scenery.

You can do a loop around the Silverbell Mine through the Ironwood Forest National Monument. Or Redington Pass Road. Both easy.

Redington Pass goes up in elevation giving you some gorgeous views and is more just a wide dirt road than a trail.

The main roads in the Ironwood Forest are well-groomed, but the one around the south side of Silverbell Mine is less groomed and goes up and down some washes.

The back way to Mount Lemmon is closed for the winter, but MIGHT be open by the time you come here. It is an all-day trip where you start in the town of Oracle, just north of Tuscon, and drive the old dirt road up the back side of the over 9000 ft. mountain. And then drive the pavement road down into the city of Tucson which is about 2300 ft elevation. It is a favorite and gets you a wide range of scenery as you change from desert to Forest and end up with some spectacular views. Plus, you can explore Peppersauce caves on the way up.

This Weekend (Feb 3 and 4) Runs - 4 to choose from.... (More details in the Arizona Broncos Facebook Group)

We are going to be hosting 2 newbie and 2 newbie/alum runs this weekend. Here's the schedule and meetup spot.

Meet at the "Keyhole" staging area for Sycamore Creek (This is at the intersection of Bush Highway and Highway 87 (Beeline Highway) https://maps.app.goo.gl/zLr48oy1WzJbwU9v5
Coordinates are 33°37'43.8"N 111°33'38.5"W

The "Alumni" Run will start at 9:30AM
The "Newbie" Run will start at 10:00AM
The two groups will meet up at about the halfway point of the trail and go out together.

A little explanation on these runs.

The Alumni run is for those who have either done our Ruby's Newbies Run before or do not need any significant beginner education (You've been off road in your Bronco a handful of times). This group will take the same trail as the newbies. There is one obstacle that you will have spotting help with regardless.

The Newbies run is a run that we host at least once a quarter. It is geared towards the true beginner which we see as someone who has never been off-road in their Bronco before and/or someone who has never ever been off-road before. We offer some additional instruction along the way on both general off-road driving and etiquette, what a spotter is, some talk about gear we use, and specific instruction on the Bronco itself.
We will have help there to air down before the trail and air up afterwards.

Make sure and bring a GMRS/FRS radio along with you as we will be on channel 7 (462.7125). If you do not have a radio we usually have loaners. If you have a brand new radio, watch a video on how to use it. It will make your life much easier!

Hope to see some of you out there.
