How is this compared to the section of trail 22 I did? I might have my wife with me this time, and would like to show her a few vista's.

Looking at the event page. It says 0649 start. I am in central time, is that the for real time? Or meet up around 0800 or so?

@Mlarv along and up G1 there are couple of views will be a lot better than 22. As far as harder stuff there are only 2 harder section obstacles on lower 2 but they are not really an issue. The rest of this is cake.

It's 7:49 eastern... so people can buy their passes. store opens at 8. We have some pavement time at first. there are some overlooks but there may be lots of leaves this time of year. Overlooks are better later in the year.

We are going in on trail 28.

Cool, I’ve not been on a lot of that. I’ll plan on being there. Sat sept 9th?

So, if we can get out on that side we should come out at Disney TN. if my map is correct on the name. It's near Rocky top.

@Valhalla I think ya meant TN instead of KY? Unless I’m not following. Been many years but I have come in through Oliver Springs and exited up in Lake City (now renamed Rocky Top) I’ve somewhat recently been across Hwy 116 to G50, went down trail 51 to Panther Rock and then came back out a different way back to G50 to Hwy 116, think part of that was Braden Flats? I’d love to go back in that way down to Panther Rock. That is an excellent overlook. Can drive out on it but I was solo and opted to not risk it

Drove out on panther rock but was to chicken to go out on the edge even with a spotter... something about only seeing treetops and leaning....I'll edit the KY part...I'm smoking crack...
