Looking for a recommendation for a Ford dealership in Austin area. I bought my 2024 Badlands Sasquatch in San Antonio and need a local dealership for maintenance. When I roll up the front passenger side window, it automatically rolls back down after it reaches the top. Has anyone had this problem?

I have on the passenger side. It's a tensioner, it's too tight and thinks your arm or something is in the way. AFAIU, it just needs to be backed off a little. It is annoying.

I've had this problem a couple of times, with different windows. The window doesn't seat exactly in the weather stripping with it reaches the top and it thinks there's an obstruction. I ride with windows down/top off most of the time, so I think the wind may move it around. Try to run your finger in weather stripe groove to kind of reset the position from the middle where the window is supposed to sit. Has worked for me each time and should save you time and money at the dealer...

How'd it go? Were you able to get it working again? You can also try the window reset; which I've done before as well. Hold the window button down for 5 secs, then hold window button up for 5 secs. That should reset the parameters of the window.

I know it seems like a lot, but this has only happened twice (2 different windows) for me and these fixed the problems - no problems since.

Truck City Ford in Buda has been good to me. I bought mine in San Antonio as well. They've worked on everything I've asked. Even texted me recently to offer to drive to my house and take care of the wiper recall.

Simple fix for me, try this method: With window as far up as it can go without it automatically going down, push and hold the down button (hold at bottom for two seconds), pull and hold for two seconds, and then push down and hold for two seconds. Note: when you hold up the first time it will automatically go down but don’t worry just follow through as instructed.

I had this problem ('22 two-door Badlands) and needed to perform the reset routine occasionally, then eventually every few days. I had Maxwell Ford have a look and they replaced the power window motor. This was done January '24 and haven't had a problem since. Maxwell Ford has been great for sales and service.
