I am sticking with the build that I ordered, I really do not want to compromise any of it. I do not want to put a hitch (wiring for the hitch) on after market or take off the hardtop that comes with the vehicle and order a soft-top or take away the Lux package and the model comes with the sasquatch package. I am willing to wait for something that I plan on keeping forever.

Word, that was my philosophy as well. But... the truck isnt for me, so those must haves become nice to haves, and my Wife wants it sooner than later. Which is cool, Im more interested in the lightning as a vehicle I plan to own for an extended period of time.

I replaced the factory tires on my '88 Bronco II with General Grabber ATs. They were nice tires - good in snow and on the trails. They were my 2nd favorites to the BFG KO2s I had on my '98 Ranger.

Just got this last night from Ford, but the dealer called me on Tuesday to let me know my Bronco got pulled to be built.

I dealt w Koerner too. Got the run around in July I asked if they had anyone cancel their order and was told they had acquisitions coming in, which didn’t make sense since no one cld even get cuts orders. I had a res with another deal koerner told me to get one w them and I cld go in that day give A deposit and place an order. So I rush there only to b told no I can’t place an order and maybe I cld take over an order that was canceled. Called back cpl weeks ago to come their acquisitions and sales guy said we don’t have any I’ll call u back I have ppl that canceled orders. I’m still waiting for that call back! I have taken over 2 Canceled orders at 2 diff dealers to hedge my bets I need to get it done before my trade value goes down. Now just waiting on a build to get scheduled.
azbittel
Dont trade with them if you can help it. Echo Park in Cicero has been making stellar offers to me and everyone I've told to go there. They give KBB value or better every time as long as you are selling something not beat to absolute hell and less than 10 years old. Good luck finding a Bronco!!!! There arent any dealers in Syracuse that know a damn thing about the Bronco production issues, so I wouldn't believe a single thing Koerner or anyone else has to say until they have cancelled Broncos on the lot ready to sell.

@azbittel Had no idea Echo Park existed and now I'm definitely using them instead of Koerner's trade price... damn. Thanks for the heads up. 5/23 build date is coming soon.

I’m actually all set I took over a first day very early res guy didn’t want to wait for 2 his door. I got build week of 9/6 and looked in order tracker with Vin it’s there. I’m not goin through koerner. The owner of dealership I’m using wants my FJ for himself I know what KBB says it’s worth. I also have an offer from another dealer. I’ve hedged my bets from the day I decided to get the bronco. After my order got scheduled I told another dealership I didn’t want the order I was going to take over there from someone who canceled. So if anyone wants to take that over it hasn’t scheduled yet and they probably can change my build I’ll let u know what dealership and who to ask for.
A51 is ours! The yellow was the forst Ive seen in wild, a dealer demo WT lux.

That dealer is tough. Not that any dealer is not, but they are. Bought one car from them, and we F'd them, which we still talk about. Showed them another price for a car that Sam Dell wrote on of their letterhead paper, which was not what they would sell for, but we showed it to Korner and they beat it. Hope it works out, such a stressful thing...
azbittel
They gave a conservative sight unseen offer several thousand less than a competing used car dealer cash offer. Second time in a row, dealt with the same with my mach e purchase through them.

I will wait until they see it and give their best final offer before losing faith, but Im not confident. 100k worth of vehicles in 2 months... I hope they see the value in that is all I can say.

Dont get me wrong, Theyve been wonderful in every other regard, but holy fuck they have the least competitive trade in department Ive ever dealt with. I would not hesitate for a second to go back to them to buy without trading in, but if I have to go elsewhere to sell again it will def be the last straw.

Had 3 cash, dealer offers on my last trade for between 4k and 9k more than Koerners best offer. And thats on an 18k truck. So a 50% swing... I just want to get it all done in one place for logistics sake.

I dont mean to bash them, but dont get your hopes up for a reasonable trade value thats for sure. 5/5 in every other department lol.

I really dislike the charades that dealers do to make a dollar, which is why people hate buying vehicles from a dealer. I ordered my Bronco from a dealer in Buffalo because they gave me the invoice price, Dave Smith was sticking to MSRP. I was willing to drive an hour and a half to save thousands on an already expensive Bronco.
Ford just updated my tracker, my Sas Obx is being delivered (in theory)between 8/5-8/11. Built 7/20. Not super quick, but not too bad a wait. Koerner Fords 2nd Bronco I believe, 2nd to the owners priority order, so it is basically the first legit regular order, probably one of the first 5 in all of Syracuse I would bet. Havent seen one on the road yet... Super exciting!!

Just saw a BL, SAS, Cactus Gray this morning on RT 31 in Clay. Not sure I would have liked Cactus Gray.
azbittel
@NY WLDTRKBRONCO Fyi thats the Koerner Fords (owner) personal Bronco. That was the order directly before mine, their priority 1.
Syracuse has its first Bronco as of today, afaik. Koerner Ford's priority order just arrived. A Cactus Grey Badlands Sasquatch, lux, 2.7, MIC, all the fixins... 61k msrp.

Out in Seneca Falls for work today and caught this beauty as I drove by Fuccillo Ford. 2dr outer banks in antimatter blue. Sadly couldn't be driven and isn't for sale for 6 months. I had next to zero time since I was already in a hurry but couldn't pass up a chance to finally see one in person. Quickly pulled in, walked around, snapped the single pic and had to boogie. Broke my heart to not have time to stay and ogle it for a while.

Really wish it was sasquatch to get a feel for how mine will stand, planning on basesquatch myself, but the size was basically spot on with my 2 Dr JK Wrangler.

They look so much better in person!

Hopefully they get this modded out asap, that setup is ugly as hell..... Do you have your base squatch ordered? You're probably sol until '22-'23 at this point.

Yea the stock outer banks is not a good look. Reminds me of like a Jeep Sahara with the fancy wheels with highway tires and painted flares.

I don't have a order and never reserved, not in a super hurry and very non committal by nature so I've been waiting to actually drive one before I do anything. Inched one step closer today.

Sick. Get one when the links are worked out and the herritage edition is available!

It is great to see this group pop up for the Syracuse area! I ordered my Race Red Wildtrak Bronco through Dave Smith Ford just outside of Buffalo. I ordered it with the Lux package, towing, rock rails, roof racks, keypad entry, and the cloth interior.

We felt the opposite with the heated steering wheel, it already costs so much, and going high to lux was just not worth it. We were originally going for mid, but high adds 360 copilot and 12" screen which is a must have imo. The BO system is trash imo, its in My Mach E and I am not impressed. My RAM 1500 had a better sound system stock, not even the upgraded Alpine.

LOL, I love it! I had the same feelings about some of the items, and it took a while to come to the decision for all the extras. For me, this will probably be the last brand new vehicle that I purchase, so I wanted to make sure that I did not regret not getting an option. I hear you on some of the items, but I do like the heated steering wheel for the cold NY weather, and I really did not care about the sound system. Definitely, the 12-inch display is key, that was a must, along with the hardtop. The only thing I did not want in the Bronco is leather seats, I actually like clothe.
That is exciting that you have a build date! Super cool!! I will go nuts when that email comes in!!
azbittel
We arent cloth people either, so i am glad that was a solo option and didnt unneccesarily add cost to any of the other options.
