This is sort of a non-Bronco post but I wanted to reach out to everyone here that lives or visits WV because my family is looking for a winter trip this upcoming January. Any recommendations for places to visit during the winter months in WV? We aren’t looking to do any skiing but want an area to just explore (parks/national forests/small towns/etc). How is Elkins and/or Canaan Valley areas? Any other recommendations? I live in MD and don’t mind a drive. Also would love a place to drive the Bronco around on the snow/winter. Are the parks open? Thanks!

For those who just can’t get enough photos. I went to Bronco event in Manassas, VA earlier today. I originally took these for a buddy who was primarily interested in the interior. Otherwise, I would’ve taken a better assortment of shots. They only had four-doors, and they looked really good, better than I imagined. I’m still going two-door though, and I think that’ll be just about right for me. The stance with the Sasquatch package seemed pretty perfect to my eyes. I had a concern that the vehicle would be excessively wide, but it was fine. A little narrower than my Grand Cherokee, I think. The interior space in terms of shoulder and leg room on the driver’s side was pretty good. Again, narrower than my GC but slightly more roomy than my partner’s Wrangler. I also liked the MGV seats more than I expected.
Years ago when i was stationed at Ft. Brag, a buddy of mine had a jeep that we took to a beach (i believe it was somewhere around Wrightsville Beach). We were able to pay, since it was privately owned, to drive on the beach, pull it right up by the water and open our cooler of beer. Since this group encompasses N.C., was hoping someone could help me remember the name of that beach (i know with all the amazing details about it, hard to believe i can't find it on google) or let me know of a beach that allows this. This will be one of my first trips with the Bronco, weather dependent.
Hello All,
Has anyone tried to work with dealerships in the northern Virginia area? My reservation is currently with the Ford Dealership in Manassas, VA. I have contacted a couple in the area to see if they were doing any incentives to raise the number of their reservations but have been unsuccessful. My understanding of the allocations for dealers is based on the number of reservations turned into orders and the size of their dealership/sales. I am looking to get a group of people together to try and work with a dealer, like those in Colorado with Granger Ford, the dealership in W.V. and now Texas. Reply back if you are interested.
I reached out to Sheehy Ford, in Richmond, Virginia yesterday. They had a Bronco event planned for December 3rd. They just found out from Ford that the event has been postponed until Q1 2021. They suspect many other events in the region will be postponed as well. This is a Ford decision, not Sheehy's.
I would like to see one in person. If anyone know of another event that is still happening, please reply. Thanks.
Hello all, Hampton Roads, VA here. 2-door Base reserved, but probably upping to the Big Bend, most likely in antimatter blue. Would consider sasquatch if it came with the manual.
Hello all, looking forward to the B&P going live in just under an hour from now! What are some good trails in VA you would recommend to a beginner? No 'squatch anticipated for me, unless the price is too cheap to pass up, but I doubt it so nothing too crazy. Hopefully since I got my res in early I can maybe have a vague hope of getting some Labor Day fun out of it next year lol
Hey from Raleigh
4D Black Diamond
Sas
2.7
Mid
Hardtop (hoping modular will be an option in build & price)
Cyber Orange
Reserved with Granger, but will likely change to Stephens, shaving off a lot of miles.
Since no one has said hello.....hello everybody!! Anyone going with the black diamond? I’m looking to get the Sasquatch package with the 2.7 in antimatter blue if the price is right
