Built’ status today!

Here’s my OW BRaptor…picked her up a few weeks ago!!!
Now with updated pic. Blacked out windshield frame, gills, full PPF/ceramic, ExoShield & “BRaptor” graphic. Now time to get ‘er dirty!

Got the email from Ford, my Bronco's been built! Now the wait intensifies.

New to the group. Ordered 09/2021 and took her home on 11/29/2022. Can't wait to see what it can do.

Fun day @ Pismo Beach California

I took delivery last week and couldn't wait for the weekend to get this thing dirty. Its performance totally exceeded my expectations!

I picked up a roof box this weekend for some extra space. I highly recommend one for stashing snow soaked stuff to keep the cargo area dry.

So why did you pick Oxford White?

Mine was the least fun/most engineering way to do it.

The Over Thinking of Doom process!!!

• Velocity Blue. She Who Must Be Obeyed (SWMBO) said no. Crap.
• Carbonized Grey, SWMBO choice -great color and easy to lose in the parking lot as a grey SUV. SWMBO changed mind due to lost in parking lot.
• Throw out this decision making process as it is too emotion based.
  
  Ok new process
• This is an off roader and as it will be used as such it must be scratch repairable to not cause SWMBO complaint issues down the road. Metallics are difficult to paint repair scratches. All metallics out.
• Area 51, Cactus grey, Black, race red and white left.
• SWMBO throws out Race Red to false notion Red gets more tickets (blue does). As lowly husband I am unable to convince her of the insurance company data and of the Red Coat argument about being able to hit pedestrians and minimizing the appearance of splattered blood. Red is out.
• Still live in the south, Black is beautiful but too hot. (Plus black shows all scratches and dirt) Black is out.
• Area 51. I feel this is going to be a color people look back on as a fad. In the direct Sun it looks cool, but it looks washed out in every other light. As beauty is in the eye of the beer holder. Area 51 is out.
• Cactus grey- it’s primer with a clear coat over it. Doesn’t stick out as it is in the grey category. So nope.
• And by process of elimination, we choose Oxford white. Easy to repair scratches. Due to the contrasting MIC top and white it sticks out better than all the grays. Easier to coordinate accessories. Cooler in the summer. Easier to do maintenance due to spotting leaks and light reflection
  
  That is the extremely boring and practical way we chose Oxford White. How about everyone else?

Every time I see a picture of a Bronco in Oxford White, I know I made the right choice. Can't wait to see mine in my driveway!

Hello friends. Finally received my BRONCO! 22 Black Diamond. So far only 14Kim’s on her but I love it. Some things in life are well worth the wait. Only wish Ford gave us the 5.0L V8 option with analog cluster. Simply put, naturally aspirated power & a tach!
