Hey there. First post. While I am patiently waiting for my Bronco, I wanted to join the group to connect with local enthusiasts. I live in the Manchester-Valley Park Area. Looking forward to meeting soon!
Hey all First post just joined the group. Really trying to meet and connect with people locally with Broncos that i can call if i need help or advice. (Reality post saying i need an adult im an idiot kind of things.)
Picking up the wife's new ride Friday. Driving up to Chuck Anderson Ford from StL.
Badlands, Lux, Sasquatch, 2.7/10sp with washout floors. Trading in our 2016 Fusion Titanium on it.
We had already had a trip to KC planned for several weeks prior to see some friends which seemed to work out perfect. Unfortunately they came down with the flu so the trip is solely for the Bronco now. Guess i can live with that
Hello fellow Missouri Bronco Owners! Diode Dynamics is having a grand opening car show coming up this Saturday from 2pm-6pm. The address is 3870 Millstone Pkwy, St Charles, MO 63301. Would any of you be interested in meeting somewhere before the show and cruise there together? I think it would be cool to just have all the broncos pull in at once lol. Let me know and we can get something planned!
Picked up Cochise yesterday. (Cochise was my grandpa's riding horse. Cochise was a grandson of Man-o' War by about 3ish generations. Like many of us, he had a bad hip so became a regular guy.) This beast is wicked awesome. So Much Stuff To Learn.
FTR, Suntrup Ford Westport was awesome to deal with. In and out in a titch over 2 1/2 hours which included my 20 minute test drive and my wife's lots more time test drive. God's blessings on your wait and soon to be reception of your rig.
Well It appears my rig showed up last night at a rail yard just outside Kansas City. It is about 30 minutes from my dealer. So hopefully I will be picking her up in the next couple days!
Kind of weird timing, but I just got my assembly line photo today.
I will get better photos, but picked it up at 430pm and drive until 8pm
Love it!
The color (before the snow) is just ridiculously awesome in person.
Only two complaints are they forgot my door bags, and the front trail site on the driver side has rusty bolts. Dealer is trying to order both and make it right.
@Illini_STL If you were arriving in Soulard around 7:45 this morning, I'm pretty sure I saw you. No, I don't have everyone's builds committed to memory, but an Illini license plate holder in St. Louis was a tell.
Still waiting on mine. Just deleted my tow package and safari bar. Hoping chances to get scheduled next week are improved. Anyone take delivery from BO Beuckman?
Think I forgot to post this, but I picked it up on Friday. I’m so loving the EG, it definitely turns heads. Ordered through Dave Sinclair Ford in St Louis. They do not charge an ADM on customer orders, so got it at MSRP.
Former Missourian, current Michigander here. Still have family in MO, so I plan to road trip down there decently often. Any good trails / ORV parks near St. Louis? Want to check them out next time I drive down.
The dealer I originally ordered from sold to another local dealership. My order was handled by salesmen from original dealership and now new dealership. A couple weeks ago, I received call from salesman handling my order notifying me of 3-7 build date, woo hoo!. He gave me the vin# along with that information. So after trying multiple times to track on tracker with vin and order number with no success I called Ford and was informed that in fact 3-7-22 was the date. I really wanted to keep trying the tracker so I asked the salesman for order number again just because I couldn't get it to work. He gave me the same order number and this time another vin#. Plugged that into tracker and guess what, it worked! I got to thinking and texted him back later that it was working, but thought that it may have been a build without roof rack. I also informed him that I had 2 vin#'s. I haven't heard back and now neither order and vin# combo works on the tracker, grr. Hopefully I find out soon what is going on. Will call dealership today. Thanks for reading, I'm getting excited!!
Did the Bronco Off-Rodeo this last weekend down in Austin. I've never done any kind of off-roading at all, so felt that this was a must for me to learn the do's and don'ts of off-roading. Also, I wanted to learn about all of the cool toys on the Bronco and what they are meant for and how they work.
After completing the course on Saturday and getting about 5 hours of drive time in the Bronco putting those learned skills to use, I am now way more comfortable with this whole off-roading thing. I only plan to do some light trail driving and RTT camping on weekends, but if I happen to run into some rougher terrain I will now be confident enough to be able to handle that without being scared that I will break my truck somehow.
I'd highly recommend doing the Off-Rodeo if you haven't yet or if you are sitting on the fence about it. For me it was way worth the time, effort, and money. Can't talk enough good about it! The workers/instructors were all very nice and knowledgeable. The food was much better and more than I thought it would be. The course was very well done and offered some really cool off-roading and experience as well.
Hello, from Champion, MO. I'm in the waiting period of this Bronco happening, not a full month of waiting for my ride; 2022 Catus Gray, 2.7L, BL/Sasq Auto, Soft Top. But I'm not the first or last to be on the yellow footsteps waiting (Again). Just a Missouri hello.
