Well done @iwantabasebronco !!! I am glad I can serve as inspiration for a fellow Bronco owner. It is still one of the best upgrades I did and also a super fun project.
Thank you for the interest but regrettably I am not fabricating or selling these. The video was more of an instruction video on how I solved the problem. I will make sure to reach out if I ever decided otherwise. Best of luck!
Thank you for your interest but unfortunately I do not have interest in fabrication for purchasing. If woodworking was my profession I think it would be a different story. Even providing drawing are complicated due to the layout of the rear compartment. Much of the work was done trial and error...
I don't intend to be aggressively off-roading; however, your additions will definitely help sure the platform. The drawers have soft close so it takes some effort to open them. I have not had any trouble with the drawers opening up or even rattling while driving the vehicle. I also don't have a...
I have a 80lb Husky/German Sheppard and we have been using the platform for close to a month regularly. We have no issues at all with her or multiple dogs being in the back. I built it with 3/4" cabinet quality plywood because I knew it would be plenty strong. Hope that helps you out!
ALL - for starters thanks for all the support, I am happy to see this platform is practical use for other Bronco owners. Please like, subscribe and post any questions on youtube. I have been getting a lot of great questions that I would like everyone to see the responses to. Lastly if you have...
I originally was going to make a flip top to make a full platform. When I flipped up the rear seats it would fold on top of the main platform. I decided against this because I wanted a soft durable flooring to go on top of the platform. None the less, you can't feel any gaps with the dog bed on...
I know there has been some pictures put up of other owners making a storage platform for their broncos. I did something a little different by including drawer storage that still allows access to the factory storage. I have some pictures below but also click the link for a video on my youtube...
Great picture! This is with stock suspension and no leveling kit? I am thinking of doing the same to my 2DR BD Cactus Grey. I am looking for a low key more aggressive look than factory.
Much appreciated!
I love the look but upgrading from stock tires to 35" makes me nervous of the noise/comfort. I was considering a leveling kit or a 2" lift so that will prob match the height, which I like the look. Thanks for the input!
