To answer your question no. No clip they just float. I de-pinned the plug repaired the wires and tucked them were I felt they would be good depending on how much throw is in the locker when activated.
So I kept getting a service rear axel when trying to turn the locker on. So today pulled the cover and found both the power and ground somehow managed to get in front this metal flange. Wearing through the wire shielding, most likely causing it to short. De-pinned the plug cleaned up, soldered...

It’s just a stock replacement from Ford. I ordered both front wheel speed sensors. We’ll see if that helps.
After replacing my front FDU dash looks like a Christmas tree and locker won’t engage. When swapping out to a new one does it need to married to the vehicle?
