After replacing my front FDU dash looks like a Christmas tree and locker won’t engage. When swapping out to a new one does it need to married to the vehicle?

No. There's no actual electronic connection to the FDU (other than the locker or FAD, and W/T's don't have a FAD). It's a happily dumb piece of hardware.

Odds are you jacked up a wheel speed sensor - I'd go check those out.

Also - check DTC codes - it will probably point you in exactly the right direction.

Thank you for the help.
Did you recheck all of your connections?
yes thoroughly. Gonna start with the wheel sensor like Brian suggested.
Did you also change the ratios?
It’s just a stock replacement from Ford. I ordered both front wheel speed sensors. We’ll see if that helps.

Update!!! Driver side speed sensor was bad. Changed both just because and everything cleared. 👌🏻💯
Can you change the title to add resolved?
