  1. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

With the power of Irish Spring in your hand it's like deterring rodents in Ire-land....
  2. What Was the First Trip That Made You Glad You Bought a Bronco?

We flat towed the Bronco out to the Outer Banks. Stopped in at the visitor's center near the beach access and talked with the lady at the desk. She mentioned that many people have gotten stuck on the beach and talked about how outrageously expensive it was to get pulled out. I told her that I...
  3. Recall 26S55: 2021-2026 Bronco - Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Repair [July 23, 2026] -- 590,000k units affected

Please post the recall procedure when it comes out... I spent a bit of time attaching various wire harnesses I put in for lights and flat tow to the stock ones, and I'm curious which are affected. Thanks.
  4. Recommendation for a North Texas Ford Dealership for Service Repair?

I've had good luck with North Central Ford in Richardson where I purchased my Bronco from. I've only used them for oil changes, recalls, and the window stabilization service but they've been good for those things...
  5. Before I put a hole in the dash somewhere.....

Yes. Make a measurement on the diameter of the switch, then use the closest step drill size. You can get the step drill bit pretty cheap at harbor freight...
  6. Before I put a hole in the dash somewhere.....

You have to take the center console out. The only hard part was removing the screws holding the shifter handle on (2 small set screws you have to get at from the front of the shifter). Best way to do that is to turn the car off with the wheels chocked in drive - this allows the shifter to be...
  7. Instrument Cluster Speed Limit Display Info Question

I don't have a subscription, but the speed limit randomly shows up in my dash on roads where I least need it...
  8. Painted My Calipers to Make Stock Wheels Look Better

Like the look. I always enjoy these on performance vehicles and they look great on the Bronco. Nice that Amazon has a paint that worked for you. May have to consider it if it comes in green...
  9. Before I put a hole in the dash somewhere.....

I used one of these that came with my Diode Dynamics light kit. I pulled the center console and used a step drill to mount it and a unswitched 12V outlet. Pretty happy with how it came out.
  10. Who's still on their original Bronco windshield? 👀

2023 Big Bend with 17K miles. One small chip. Stay out from behind all semis, dump trucks, cement mixers, and vehicles that look likely to sling something. Fingers crossed...
  11. Why phone mounts

Well done. Nice to have a similar solution at a much more affordable price point.
  12. Can I get owner insight/advice?

I have a 2023 Big Bend 2 door that I custom ordered (the only car I've owned that that happened). 3-1/2 years and about 17K miles in I'm pretty happy. There's a little wind noise at highway speeds, but that's what good stereos are for. On that note the speakers that came with the stock stereo...
  13. Dash Command Center for Road Trips

I truly miss those sugar filled days!
  14. Bi-Directional Roof Patent

Here's hoping it's not made out of MIC material...
  15. What’s the one thing you ALWAYS bring on a road trip in your Bronco?

The plastic bag family. A couple of gallon, quart, and sandwich bags. Always come in handy for any trip I take...
