Take off the crash bars, everythign else works out fine. Those are just two bolts each and pop right off. And you already know about Forscan and the calibration for the speedometer.
The CHMSL will rest right on top of the spare, but it still fits ok. Camera stub tube still works fine.
When my tailgate got tweaked (however it occurred) it tweaked the metal around the pin as well as the tailgate. It was a mofo to get it all realigned. Sure - it was all good, all the way up until it wasn’t. I suspect a lot of washboard roads and my spare bump stops weren’t in place correctly...
Either you like the Bronco well enough and you buy one, and you repaint/wrap it if you really really want that color.
Or you don't.
Life doesn't have to be complicated. Odds are you, and maybe 5 other people, are holding off buying because of this one particular hangup over Green.
Loosen the tire to get the straps back there?
Thread straps between spokes on the tire rim?
Tie it up across the C-Pillar inside?
Just clip it to the hitch receiver and let it drag behind you?
This is the truth.
A winch will get you out of almost anything. But you need to get out, find something to pull off from, tie it off, wind it back up when done, and hope you don't snap a line and take off your arm, and knock all the snow/mud/river water/dirt off your boots.
A locker will get...
Just doing some basic internet sleuthing and rebuilt/remanned 2.3's were in the $3-5k range, and 2.7 s in the $4-6k range, and fairly readily available.
(Remanned Coyotes also in the $4-7k range, but not sure what additional costs with a conversion would entail - and tons of those available)
Most FDU failures I've seen (around the internet, not in person -- and that aren't from obvious user error) seem to be because of a leaking pinion seal. These FDU's do not have a lot of volume of oil, and so you lose a little bit and what's left gets hot fast, and I'm not convinced the "splash"...
Bracket is a 90’ bent sheet metal bolted to the battery plate, not the battery itself. This one came with the Stinger solenoid but it isn’t anything fancy.
That's a nice looking shelf. It doesn't vibrate around too much while in motion? I know those power stations can be heavy. It looks sturdy enough to support the weight for sure.
Have you had any issues trickle charging yours through the cargo power point? I know a lot of folks have come away...
