Bought a Gladiator Rubicon; fits my usage perfectly. Rated to tow 7K lbs. Drove it home 600 miles of 2 lane and highway. Excellent road manners except for when it was windy!
Wishing everyone the best with their Broncos; anxious to see them on (and off) the road!
Just bought a Gladiator Rubicon. I put off this purchase in hopes that the Bronco would have at least a 5K tow rating.
Bought it out of state. Drove home 600 miles combination two lane and highway. Very pleased with it.
Can't wait to see the Bronco, wishing everyone the best.
The Gladiator (and presumably a future Bronco truck) can off-road, be topless and doorless, haul stuff in a bed that you wouldn't want in the back of your Wrangler/Bronco.
And, oh yeah, it can do all of that and tow 7000 lbs (Gladiator Rubicon). Just because that isn't important to you doesn't...
Mahindra Roxor (kind of) bridges the gap between traditional SxS and Wrangler/Bronco. They should start making them again soon. Still not street legal (check local regs) but less likely to get stopped on local roads prolly.
I've considered one as a way to get from my lake camp to go enjoy the...
Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, Dodge Durango SRT.
Want something fun with >5K tow rating. Bronco no longer under consideration, but I still check in for possible late changes . . .
DDSRT currently in the lead. Not enough value for dollar in the JTR right now, IMO.
As for the mentality of "It's the same as Jeep, so we're good": can you even get the tow pkg with Sasquatch? Because with Jeep, you're still at 3500 with the Rubicon model.
