Day one picking up my new Bronco, the driver side plastic seat tilt lever cracked off in my hand, lol. Besides that the only issue is my now cracking MIC top which is not cool. Otherwise I like the vehicle a lot, so glad and still surprised Ford got back into the open top doors off 4x4 game.
Depending on the type of plastic/rubber, this 3M product can work great. I glued a rubber cut on my spare tire. Some people in a pinch use it to glue sidewall patches on their tires when off-roading. I used the PR40 version pictured but it comes in various viscosities. Apparently it's similar to...
Ace Hardware. Although their prices have gone up a lot, they still have a decent local selection. I got burned with Home Depot hardware that comes in plastic bags, some nuts would not screw onto bolts, due to the packaging didn't find out until home.
Earlier this week I picked the wrong day to finally wash and detail my Bronco. It rained overnight and I woke up to this. :(
Apparently some kind of freak Chicagoland rain carrying dirt from out of state...
Yearly property tax on my northern European apartment is a couple hundred Euro. Add in nice health care also at significantly lower cost, better and lower cost food, lower crime rate etc.
There is a lot to like about the USA, but yeah down the road I plan to be out of here for a good portion...
Paying $60k for any Bronco regardless of top is not all that sane either. In the next few years we'll see used Broncos in the $20k range and under. Although sadly maybe not as many used 2-doors to play around with given how Ford is restricting them.
I lived a decade along the Front Range, mainly in and around Fort Collins. That was the late 90s and early 2000s though. It was a nice time to be there, not overcrowded, lots of off-road opportunities, EBs were still a few thousand dollars. Interesting collection of people. Then big spenders...
4.7 to 4.88 is a rather small change, try some gear calculators it likely would be under a 200 rpm change. A relatively expensive mod for a small rpm difference. Plus your Bronco has 3 overdrives gears and so should hopefully be compensating for the 37s by not using the top gears as much...
Ok send me $50, then for my part I'll squelch the so called "outrage". ;)
Although I'd rather you send me $100 for the better kit that doesn't work off the OBD port, and while your at it stop by to take apart the dash and install it.
