Thank you for the responses everyone. I currently drive a Ranger Tremor with the 2.3L and much prefer it’s driving dynamics and lighter steering feel compared to the Broncos I’ve driven.
I know tires and the SAS package go a long way in contributing to a heavier steering wheel, but I’ve never...
I’m debating between the 2.3 and 2.7 engines in a 2 door Base Sasquatch. Outside of power differences, does the 2.3 handle any differently than the 2.7?
I assume the lighter weight of the 2.3 might make for more nimble handling and steering, but I’m curious from owners that have driven both...
Anyone have any feedback on the blind spots with the standard package/spotter mirrors? Really the only thing I’m worried about missing by going with the base is blind spot monitoring, but I’d love to hear from owners how the blind spots are (especially from 2 door owners).
I’m interested in this as well. I currently have a Subaru Crosstrek and while the ride is smooth off-road, it’s quite easy to bottom out the suspension if you’re going even moderately fast.
I’d be curious to see how a non-Sas BD would do in comparison.
I was curious about this as well. The standard package has the backup assist gridlines that move just like the other packages. I confirmed it with someone that got a base a couple weeks ago.
I believe it doesn't have any beeping sensors though like the mid package does.
@Boxer4
Sweet rig!
What is the MPG with the 2.7 now that you’ve had it a couple weeks and how is the power? I’m trying to compare it to @BronchoPeat’s 2.3 SAS as he’s averaging 18 mpg.
Thanks for all yo
@BronchoPeat Thanks for all your pictures and feedback! You’ve been very helpful for those of us considering a Basesquatch. I know I already asked you in the Ohio forum, but do you think you could provide a video of the base back up camera with moving gridlines? Curious to...
